Let this man laugh, but we are laughing AT HIM, even more. Why? 1) He is living with a dead ideology. It struggled since 1917 and was buried by the Soviets themselves followed by the Chinese and all the East-Europeans. He is selling this dead system to us - seriously. 2) His party is the most communal over the Indo-US deal. In SouthIndia, the communists readily associate with parties of "ethnic/racial chauvinism" - the "Dravidian" parties. To our communists, muslim parties are "secular". SO, HOW CAN WE RESTRAIN OUR LAUGHTER? His party bosses hobnobbing with the Congress for years and then accusing them of betrayal, the drama over the Speaker and so on, are all matters that can evoke laughter in most. It is pathetic what his party has done in Nandigram and to W.Bengal as a whole. These people should cover their faces, when they come out in Public.

Your post is a fine example of "Little knowledge is a dangerous thing".
I agree to the last sentence of your post. Left-front has done ugly things in Nandigram and some other areas in WB in the name of industrialization.

How can one say only BJP is communal? CPM and its Left allies always put muslim candidates in muslim localities to win Vote - their speaker in Wb Assembly Mr.Halim is a prime example of this - he was directly involved in murder of a Police DC Port some time back - but nothing happened to him - thanks to Jyoti basu - also when CPM came to power in west bengal in 1977 - within days their party comrades killed and burnt 17 Ananda Margis in open daylight on Bijan Setu in upmarket area of Kolkata called Ballygunj - recently the muslim community is so pissed of against CPM because their activities in nandigram - CPM had to chase away Tasleema Nasreen from West Bengal to appease them - but they are doing dharna to make political milage out of Safdar Hasmi and killing of farmers in Andhra - this is the actual characteristic of CPM and Coommunists all over world - they live on market eceonomy and sustain on criticizing it- their ideology have failed all over world and still think they most concerned of India's sovereignity - they learned their communism from British - Harry Pollit and rajani Pam Dutta - and became British spy instrumental in catching Indian Nationalist - they also tout nationalism is the most worst word and they always say China schools teach national anthem to 3 year old child and CPM is proud of China- and they say Yeh Ajadi Jhuta hai and Netaji was Quisling - now these impotent Forward Block is their ally - so no matter how much Subhas Chakravorty is laughing - he

Hi,
I am new to this. I am not a supporter of commies but do feel that communism is a feeling that arises from the heart and not a dogma. If it is held as a political dogma, then it fails miserably as in the case of USSR. Even in the USSR, it is not communism that failed but manipulative politics and authoritarianism in the guise of communism that made it a failed state. I do appreciate Bengalis' intelligence but feel that instead of talking idealogies, they should work for the progress of their people. One can have a feeling that Bengal is nearly 30 years back
The Communists stand for nothing except greed for power. They have nothing to give this poor land except misery, poverty and deprivation. Only brainless ignoramus idiots would fall fore their constant lies - if they had cared so much for the welfare of aam aadmi, how come their state, this here Workers Paradise of Bongland, is such a huge cesspool of filth and squalor?? What, are the inmates of this Commie Concentration camp all so blind, deaf and dumb not to notice the hell these scumbags have made of their lives and their land??

Dr A Gopalakrishnan, former chairman Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, Ashok Parasarthy, former scientific adviser to prime minister Indira Gandhi [Images], and Prabir Purkaystha of the Delhi Science Forum have come out with very strong views against the deal.
Dr Purkaystha says the cost of the per KW nuclear energy at present was $4000, a cost at which a thermal power plant based on solar energy would produce the same amount of power, minus the hazards of the nuclear radiation and the fear of stoppage of supplies of fuel by the US and other suppliers in future. These calculations, he says have not been done in the abstract but based on the actual costs that have come for a 1600 MW nuclear power plant installed by a French company in Finland. When the agreement was signed the cost was $2650, but now there has been a 25 per cent escalation in the cost which has come to $4000 per KW. ''The figures are there on all international websites, and could be checked by anyone interested,'' he said. Even if the nuclear energy is taken as the most suitable option for the country, there were so many difficulties with the 123 Agreement that the deal could not be given a clean chit he says.
He said it would be a wishful thinking that if the US stopped supplies of nuclear fuel, India would get it from other members of the Nuclear Suppliers Group. ''One should not forget that the US was behind the formation of the NSG after India carried out nuclear tests in Pokhran,'' he said. Even
Now in Communist own party people started revolt against Prakash Karat and his ideology. Somnath Chattrejee & Subhas Chakraborty 2 shocking betrayal see lot more revolt for Karat & party to come from West Bengal. You can't make poor people fool for long time by not doing any progress and forcing your ideology.
the left and BSP have declared the deal to be Anti-Muslim. The ludicrous notion apart, even if it was so, one cannot appreciate how a minority of 12% could hold the national interest of an entire country to ransom. Another instance of what I would call the perverted anti-national face of Indian (pseudo)secularism.
Mallu Karat vs Bong Somnath Who will win ? Wait till 22nd July 2008. My bet Bong somnath will win coz he is much more experienced won lok sabha 10 times and he is a maverick. Mallu Karat acts like an another congressiman. Plays cheap politics like going and meeting BSP mayamemsaab. My 2 cents are on Bong Somnath Da.

Shutup Commie ! hahahaha KARAT worst mallu commie ! hahahha
And non-hypocricital? You must be kidding. Dude, try getting the other crores of your unwashed masses to earn 1 crore per annum, with their hard work. Don't try to bring the 2.5 million people to poverty. But then, you are but a commie.
BJP is communal - Somnath dada is a vetran political leader of the lok sabha..and being a speaker of an ongoing parliament, he should avoid such type of comments against any political party....and this barking dogs like leftist and congress and other UPA alliances should realise that thier business on communalisam and secularism is no longer valid and ppl of this conuntry are not going to accept it after the Gujarat miracles....This govenrment is totaly a minority apeasement govenment and they can go beyond any limits to save their government...they are ready to do naked dance just like amarsingh and mulayam singh is doing.....so these ppl have no right to say anything abt BJP...Its the left who decided to withdrow support from the government on the N-Deal issue..If Somnath is so smart and dont want to vote with BJP then why the hell he didnt resigned from the left party.....The main thing is this vetren leader had never got an oppertunity to get such post in the government...and he dont want to left his chair....in hindi "DO PAO KABAR MAI LATAK RAHE HAI FIR BHI BUDDHE KO KHURSHI KI PADI HAI..."...
