Sleeping with anyone for power
by jaideep shirali on Jul 17, 2008 01:38 PM  Permalink

Whatever this guy says, the Left believes in sleeping with anyone for power. It is OK to share power with the Muslim League or worse, Madhani, perfectly OK. It is OK with the Congress, which was involved in the massacre of 4000 Sikhs (or whatever number), that party is "secular".Yet the BJP, which definitely has its faults, is the only "communal" party. Even SIMI is, I suppose secular, by the Left yardstick. To say this does not make sense, is an understatement.

Now Left is in trouble....

If the Government falls.... elections will be declared.... LEFT will be left dry.... may lose all seats...

BJP will surely get the mandate and Left will be in trouble...

So now they are trying to keep Congress IN so that they will not have to face the public.... so they are making hue and cry..... actually they want the Congress to stay....

I wish the goverment falls UPA is ousted

Non-Communal BJP
by pradyumna gurjalwar on Jul 17, 2008 01:32 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If BJP is non-communal then all COMMUNIST r ANTI-NATIONAL y'day Mr.Vasantrao Sathe told the same. COMMUNIST r always critising BJP & HINDU favor thoughts. But they didnt the same for MUSLIMS b'cse CHINA's relationship with PAKISTAN is VERY GOOD. in Muslim peoples r still living in 1700 century style their COMMUNAL living is OK but HINDU shuldnt, CONVERSION of CHRITIAN is OK but if HINDU demanded for RAM MANDIR,AMARNATH SHRINE BOARD etc then we r COMMUNAL......these double standards r only ANTI-NATIONAL.....

subhash chakraborty is one of the biggest cheats in the country. all auto and bus unions pay him so that they do not have to comply with pollution or any other norms. the buses in kolkata are horrible and looks like the 60s. most autos are illegal and run on cheap adulterated oil. and subhash chakroborty sees to it, with a nice fee, that they are not caught.

Here, an IT executive earns a few lakhs a month whereas a Cabinet minister's monthly salary happens to be only Rs 65,000/-
by Ashwin on Jul 17, 2008 01:31 PM  Permalink

Is a cabinet minister worth drawing Rs. 65000/- per month? Why is he comparing the salary of IT executive with a cabinet minister. He should have compared the salary of the staff of a private organisation with the salary of a staff of a Lok Sabha / Rajya Sabha. The Ministers (not only ministers, but all politicians)and government employees are making lot of money by corruptions, but think of a staff of a private company. Many people are working for a mere salary ( below Rs. 10,000/- PM)and these politicians should think about the comman people, instead of thinking films stars, cricketers or executives.

Real intentions
by Shiv Almal on Jul 17, 2008 01:25 PM  Permalink

Real intentions of Left is not known. Why it thinks or find now a right time to fall government? Any govt. may have its own policy. Why Left with self-interests and identity projects thekedar of national interest? Somnath is right this time. Subhas speaks different on issues always and is taken lightly. Every MP should be free to decide and vote or be neutral. Why conditions, price for support?

Speakership
by pradeep kumar on Jul 17, 2008 01:23 PM  Permalink

Somnath Chatterjee's stand that post of Speaker is above party politics is laudable. But in the same breadth when he says he cannot vote along with communal BJP, it smacks of indulgunce in politics. Looks like he wants survival of the Govt. and also the Indo-US Deal. I will be gr8 if a situation arises wherein he has to vote and he does it so in fvr of the Govt.

Communal Commies!!!
by viswa raveen on Jul 17, 2008 01:22 PM  Permalink

The fact that the Muslim MPS in CPM have decided to vote for Congress, means only this. There is a communal element in Communist Party which has so far been cleverly disguised. COmmuninist are no less Communal. Only sly communal.
