Somnath chatterjee was a comrade by name only. He never show it in deeds. it was in his lecttures only. as soon as he got a post with the help of left ( due to left only) he came in to his original form. Always arrogant, offensive behaviour , a freind of Congress, no respect for party and comrades.
Somnathji your role is being watched by every indian. A person who is not with the Party and your thinking that your are above your party hurt people. It shattered the image of a comrade in the mind of people.
Bhaiya abhi bhi samay hai jag jao aur apni biradari ( Comradeship) ke saath hi raho kyoki ye Congress hai jo kisi ki nahi hai , sirf paise walo ki hai.
His manners were like a school teacher & always had a frown on his buldog like face.It will be a great relief for all to not see him in the chair that was always small for his big ego
Somnath Chatterjee was never a communist, he was just a friend of Jyoti Basu. That was the reason he got everything, became an MP, travels every year to Britain, became the speaker now he does not want to give up his luxury living. As a person he is arrogant, full of self importance with offensive behaviour. He is deeply unpopular in West Bengal. I guess he will try to join The Congress to get a ticket in the next election because it is sure and certain he will not get a ticket to stand for election on behalf of the CPI(M) again.
Mr Somanath Chatterjee is right in such a tight position. His morality shines out more than any other tiny souls available either in UPA, NDA or from other tiny groups.
The speaker on many occassion threatened to step doen but when his own party expects him to do so, he has second thoughts. What a moccary. And the BJP could do well to translate their concerns to all MP's who can then trikle it down to th common man why the deal is not in favor of India. This would stop all speculation of Rahul that younger MP's are in favor of the deal.
The paid writers of Congress and BJP will understand their time and life spoiled by the corrupt leaders. Leaders supply national shame. Try to gain some job, do not confuse poor people, otherwise you will sink with these leaders' ship.

Wrong! Somnath was corruup even before getting high office. Infact he is corrupt since he joined politics. Also, now he has proved himself that he is the worst LS speaker in India ever.

I am not sure whether Somnath Chaterjee is corrupt or nor, but certainly he is extremely arrogant, self centered and gives too much importance to himself. He is just one of the 1000 lawyers in Calcutta High Court but only because of his friendship with Jyoti Basu he got all high positions in the government. He has no principle or idealism. He is not a CPI(M) really, but he went to the top, now he should be dragged down. Anyway his political life is finished; he will not get ticket for the next election.
