If he has to choose films. He has no right to stand as MP. Congress had made a joke towards people by making Govinda represent a constituency. Govinda is still MP and this is what shows what kind of leader Sonia gandhi is.

There is nothing wrong in that. Only thing is that he should resign from the Parliament and let some one else represent the constituency and do some work for the the people.
Frankly speaking I fail to understand how this guy made it to Parliament that too by defeating the likes of Ram Naik.and wat people think when they vote for someone.Ahahahahahah

...it's unfortunate that the electorate in an urban milieu like mumbai ends up voting a govinda to power over an assiduous harcore political leader like Naik.Then why be surprised at what happens in rural hinterland? When will the country's electorate mature and realise that electing a MLA or MP is not about a popularity contest....

Just try to see the detailed results of that election, you will understand which pockets Govinda got his votes from. This will explain so many other issues which are being discussed on this forum which are about Mumbai but being expertly commented upon by non-Mumbaites.
Everybody cannot be like RAJ JI, NARGIS JI, PRITHIVI RAJ KAPOOR SAHEB, SUNIL DUTT JE. These stars shinned Lok Sabha/Rajya Sabha and contributed positively and best to the benefit of Nation.
Winning an election is no criteria for effective parliamentarian.

raj ji, Nargis ji????????? She is the one who wanted to stop "Satyajit Ray" films going out of india for screening. Because as per her "Birdbrain" ...those movies unrealisstically depicted "India's poverty"... OLD IS ALWAYS NOT GOLD.

If a student is absent for long time in school or college, he/she is not allowed to write exams.
If we absent ourselves in office, we are not paid and sent back home at one stage
If your servent or driver is not coming regularly, you dismiss them immediately
But, the so called "Government Servants" like our MP/MLA get their salary, get their perks, free travel in 1st class AC in train, free air trips, free petrol for their etc etc etc. Yet do not do their duty...
Govinda is good for nothing. He has not worked in the constituency where he was elected by UP & Bihari's. Ram Naik was a far far better than that of Govinda. People should think twice(which those bhaiyyas from UP & Bihari's who r migrating cant do)before voting such kind of fella's

Get some education. Educated Maharashtrians and Marathis are out of the sick mentality you are portraying. Education will cure you too.
This should be a lesson to all Mumbai North constituency voters who voted for govind by being carried away by his screen image. Ram Naik was a good leader. I read somewhere that even after being defeated he was working with Maharastra govt to get the fares of BEST buses decreased.

hatewat ...tera dimag "hatela" hai....Ram Naik is infinite times better than govinda...they cannot be compared. Even that scam did not favour Ram Naik but some of poor party workers were benefitted.
