Price of a horse
by ANAND TEERTHA on Jul 14, 2008 08:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

There is saying "politics is a last resort of a scoundrel". But going by the price of each Member opf Parliament these days, it is as good as indian commercialised cricket. Moreover Communists areer posing themselves as ignoramus all these decades regarding horse trading profession of Cong-I.Do not under estimate Cong-I and their dealers.

What a shame !!!
Oh !!! Govt is not doing any business with mankind and only having horses and donkeys as their friends thus don't know about the Man's problem.

When they withdrew, did he not think there ould be horsetrading????
Why did he create such a situation in the first place???
You create the situation and then you blame the 'system' and the unintended 'results' for that?

Nothing new
by JGN on Jul 14, 2008 08:09 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The late Shri. P.V. Narasimha Rao had paid a considerable amount of money to JMM MPs to vote for his Govt. So it is already there in the Congress culture. They only want to cling to power by hook or by crook. And of course none of them batted an eye-lid when an Italian ran away from our Country with Rs. 21 Crores of our tax-payer's money. Another Italian asked the CBI to look the other way when the case for de-freezing the Bank Account was being heard in the Courts of Law in UK.

What to do. This could have been done much lesser price but due to the price rise this comes to 15c for MLA and 25c for MPs.
I wonder if the crude oil price still goes on, oh god, we have to increase this rate.

by Jasad Dusty on Jul 14, 2008 08:04 PM  Permalink

Just came across this news items in the local newspaper:

A disgraced ex-lawmaker who threw Colombian politics into turmoil by saying President Alvaro Uribe's re-election was tainted by corruption added body to the scandal on Tuesday by appearing naked on the cover of a magazine.

Yidis Medina was found guilty last month of taking illegal favors from government officials in return for voting for the constitutional amendment that permitted the 2006 re-election.

Any politician in India courageous enough to this?.
