Mr Chakraborty, Please note that BJP is Indian. You must talk in India's interest. Even if it is compelled to sit with BJP in the national interest you have to do it. When it is clear that N-deal is anti-national you have to side with INDIAN. Remember there is proof that your party sided with British in a brief period when the freedom struggle was in the high pitch. Now we are in a freedom struggle. Do you want to side with anti-India forces? Please consider me as an Indian.
This deal is anti-national, as India has side USA in its nasty wars on any country which doesn't bend to its wishes. For example in Iraq, lackhs have died, millions of people are sufferring because of USA cruel and false propaganda, weapons of mass destructions. Now it want to attack Iran with some nasty reasons. Because of Gulf & Iraq invasion by USA the price of Peotroleum products have touched the sky. Because of which we are not sufferring. So if support USA in any nasty activity, not only Indian whole world will suffer. So be national and patriotic in protecting India's interests and interest of the world.
Did you tell morality, Mr Chakraborty, that too in Kolkata??? Your party collects neat 50 crore annually from auto-rickshaw driver in Kolkata. Did you mention that? Oh, come on.we know it/

Don't be stupid by raising nonsense questions like this. Every paise collected by Communists from people will be spent for the people in fighting for their rights, not becoming rich like Congress, BJP & TMC. Communists live a normal life not lavish life like your Congress, BJP bosses. The money they are collecting from rikshaw pullers is spent for them. Communists don't work like hired for Rich coroporate, they work for the masses.
Take a stand opposite to what the BJP takes in Parliament. That is the crux of the ideology of CPI(M) now.
Not on issue based merits/demerits, but depending on BJP's stand on a given issue, take just the opposite stand. This is actually a farce on the people who elected them.
Left follows ideology: fine. The question is Can they consider their idelogy to be above national interests? A deal that's clearly loaded in India's favour is obsessively opposed by Left- just because US is involved !! And the less said about Left making noises about India's independant foreign policy. For Half-century after independance, India was junior-partner to USSR/Communist-block, and that's considered OK ?? And what about Left supporting Mayawati (who has 96-properties), Left's amnesia on corruption. Coming to fighting Communal forces- Left implicity working with BJP to bringdown Congress; In fact,for last 4-years LEFT BJP has worked in-sync.

Don't be sense less in arguing that Left & BJP working in Sync. BJP is unable to play the role of Opposition. The opposition role in Parliament is played by Leftist with seats they have.
The same question put by Chakravarthy is going to be raised by the entire nation very rightly.The left parties have no answer than to gulp their own saliva. As for Somnath's continuance as speaker or not is concerned,constitutionally speaking- "Yes", he could since the office of speakership is above politics and it is the entire house that elected him.But morally speaking-"No" since his entry into parliament is owing to his having been elected on party ticket and NOT as an independent.
BJP is not a communal party. this morning news in rediff is that Mr. L.K. Advani has assured that if BJP comes to power he will work for the welfare of muslims. He is so genrous that he dont count the %age vote from muslims. still he will work for their welfare.
