MMS & Chidambaram destroyed the life a billion Indians
by Think Pad on Jul 15, 2008 06:28 PM  Permalink

Every body knows it very well that Manmohan Singh was the CIA mole in the Primw Ministers Office (PMO) during PV Narasimha Rao's Government. he is trying to achieve the final goal of capping the Indigenous Nuclear program of India, on behalf of USA and other Anti India forces, trying to tie India permanently to NPT indirectly. MMS knows very well that his time is up and after next election, he is history, since Congress has not even bothered to project him as PM.

He is trying to achieve that Goal he is assigned by his masters, put a cap on Indias indigenous nuclear program permanently, by what ever means. he knows, it is not possible, once this government goes out and he will be just forgotten.

In India, both Leftists and NDA should come together, they both have sincere policies for future of India and the billion masses. If they bury the outdated junk of secularism and communalism slogans, which has no meaning in a modern 21-st century society, they can make a strong coalition to rule India, for a long time, bringing long standing stability and prosperity.

WE SHOULD BE PRO-INDIA NOT PRO-THIS N THAT

The public at large and the whole nuclear establishment supported the deal. Thid deal aboloishes the estrangement of India as a nuclear power and put her into rightful place in the elite NSG group which she deserves due to her own merit and an impeccable record of using nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. The country is in dire needs of power to fuel its burgeoning economic machinery and nuclear power is one handy option to achieve the target. Our thorium project is going great and in future we can emerge out as a key player at a global dimension in selling nuclear power related technology for peaceful purpose. We are politically determined to keep up our policy on disarmament, we are for absolute ban on test for nuclear weapons, ours nuclear capability serves as a deterrant in a hostile neghbourhood, we were left with no choice when two neighbouring countries were clandestinely collaborating for nuclear technology, one was helping the other to arm and weaken Indian strategical position. In this backdrop India became a comprehensibly responsible nuclear power and progressed despite sanctions (thanks to our S & T establishment, Dr Kalam and others) and resisted all kinds of pressure to sign for CTBT. This is no mean achievement, it speaks volumes about the determination of India as a nation whose groth engine is not based on donations and charity of world bank or western power. So, why should we shy away accepting a strategic advantage, lets be proactive to reap the benefits

Where is Karat & party & BJP now. China is building six new nuclear power plants
by Loga on Jul 15, 2008 07:35 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

India would require 500-600 thousand MW of power by 2030 up from 132,110 at present. Thus nuclear power is the only way forward for India.
Energy needs of India are increasing exponentially and only nuclear power is the way forward. Increased price of oil and gas internationally, issues of climate change associated with coal as well as the breakdown of consensus on big dams, India needs Nuclear Energy.
India generates 132,110 lakh MW of power annually. Of this, 64.7 per cent is generated from thermal power, 26.2 per cent is generated through hydro electric power, 5.9 per cent is from renewable power sources and only 3.1 per cent through nuclear power.Nuclear power would contribute 10 per cent of the country's energy needs by the year 2022 and 26 per cent of the needs by the year 2052.
Share of nuclear power in world wide energy production was one per cent in 1960 and between 1960 to 1986, it rose to 16 per cent of world's energy production. The share has remained constant since then. There are 439 nuclear power reactors operating around the world and the US accounts for 104 of these reactors followed by France at 59, Japan at 55, Russian Federation 31 and Republic of Korea 20.
Out of the 35 new nuclear power plants under construction in the world, Asia accounts for 24 of these. While China is building six new nuclear power plants to get 5,222 MW power for its grid, India too is building six such plants which would add 2910 MW of to its grid.
