Wish more people had the same sense that you seem to have ...
Congress or any other party can not dismiss a govt. that enjoys majority. Both BJP and Congress have tried using article 356 and have received bloody nose from the system.
Why would Congress want a repeat?
The only way to bring down Mayawati would be to break BSP in suffciently large number. That won't happen unless majority of MLAs within BSP feel mayawati has become very unpopular.
But, one thing can happen - If disproportionate asset case can be fast tracked, then a slim chance exists that courts will find her guilty and she'd have to demit office.
Politics has become shameless in India thanks to 110 crore peope who cant see and listen and who do not have power to do anything.
Congress is behaving like a regional party, Its credentials as National party are under serious doubt. we need another party alongside BJP at the national level.
UP is going bihar way. no development - no employment opportunity - only politics and lawlessness. The state has been destroyed by these money hungry rulers.
If congress, under the presssure of SP tries to destablise a democratically elected popular government in UP, it will harm itself.
The only person in congress who has potential to challenge the charishma of Behanji is Mrs. Priyanka Gandhi..... but yet after few years not in the present scenario.
1)If communal riots take place in UP then there will be religious polarization outside UP too and it will destroy Congress -SP. 2)Today it is not easy to proclaim Precident's rule vide art.356 as it is evident from Bihar case of 2001 during NDA rigim. 3) Mayavati is strong enough to face those so-called challanges as she has proved beyond doubt in the recent case of Mahendrasingh Tikait "the farmer", rendering his unconditional surrender after his castly utterances towards her followed by his local Coupe de'etate. She ordered a 10000 strong force of PAC and brought his knees down. Any way it is natural for those become alarmed who have set professional Dalit shops for decades, by her sudden appearence on the horizon.
