it was expected because she is aspiring to become the prime minister and left cannot find any other candidate better than her and she may get support from BJP as well and other small parties can fall in line to get her throned to the post

N-deal has nothing to do with Left parties and disgruntled UPA partners but they all are trying to milk the Cong as much they can to prepare for next General election expenses!

Everybody involved know that the Ndeal can not be through by the current adminstrations both in India and USA.
Ofcourse Cong ditching them as usual and looking for sympathy votes in next elections.
FACT: Do anybody support the other for free of charge? Ofcourse not! This explains the logic!
