Jyoti Basu is the curse of Bengal
by Dhruba Chakravarti on Jul 13, 2008 10:22 AM  Permalink

Jyoti Basu's biggest contributions are the ruination of the economy of Bengal, bringing illegal Bangladeshi immigrants for their votes, sheltering his son, Chandan Basu as he ran his many criminal businesses. The list is endless.

Communist Parties
by Ajay_Rashi on Jul 13, 2008 08:29 AM  Permalink

Communist Parties have not a single constructive work for this country. During India-China War they openly favoured China. Only interested in Instigating Labour force and BJP Bashing

BJP & Left r the only parties, which hv some principles. all others r either controlled personally like SP (Mulayam), TC (Mamata), AIADMK (Jailalitha), BJD (Navin Patnaik), BSP (Mayawati), RLD (Ajit Singh), NCP (Sharad Pawar) etc. or controlled by a dynasty like Congress (Sonia Parivar), JD (S) (Devegouda Parivar), RJD (Lalu Parivar), Shiv Sena (Bal Thakre Parivar), Akali (Badal Parivar), NC (Farook Abdulla Parivar), DMK (Karunanidhi Parivar) etc.

The alliance between Congress & Left was fully opportunistic, now that with Mulayam even more opportunistic. What is the reason for rushing for the deal, when the next President will also sign the deal as it is very lucrative for their businessmen? Why MMS did not hurry up earlier, if the deal was so good?

Sharma, Something wrong with u. Search the net with 1962 Indo China war. U`ll know how principled the commies are. Commies supported the China during the 1962 war. I cant blame u for the ignorance since u wouldn`t have been born at that time.

U can blindly support the N-deal since the Commies are against it & so, by default, it`ll be good for the nation.

Also know that the AK Anthony, Abdul Kalam & the Clean PM MMS are the best and honest people India ever had over the last few decades. Trust the PM and Nation should go ahead with the N-Deal.

what u say is true. Left has two weaknesses:

(a) china first policy and hatred for america
(b) anti Hindu mindset.

So the only India First Party is the BJP

Basu cautions party against hasty decisions
by pjothilingam on Jul 12, 2008 08:07 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The news item by UNI above is pure nonsense, meant to drive a wedge amongst the forces gearing to torpedo the UPA govt. All the left parties have jointly denied such malicious reports. It is indeed a pity that a section of the media attempts to mislead the public.Have we forgotten our priorities? When the common man is wilting under the weight of soaring prices of essential commodities, why are we so bothered about the nuke deal? The UPA govt should shelve the nuke deal for the present, get back the support of the Left parties, survive, and tackle the real problems of the people. The nuke deal can be discussed threadbare by the media, nuclear experts and legal luminaries later and the next govt can be entrusted to take a decision.
