gadu,
What an idiotic name and matching ideas? BJP is not only falling between two sools (Mayawati & Karat), it is falling into own stool. And there are kitttigadus to provide excuses for their stink. 82 year old budhavoo LK advani and Prakash Karat are in race to be first to lick Mayawati's chhappal. Since budhavvo doesn't stand much of a chance, atleast his chances in 2009 seem to have turned into ash. BJP now will have to utilise Karat's good offices to cosy upto Mayawati. With Knickerwala Chief Sudarshan fully cued in this game, Advani will again have to accept Dy.PM's post. Just imagine Advani reporting and saying yes M'am to Mayawati.

leader Advani praised Jinnah who is the most hated figure in India ? Just so that he can show a more liberal face to Indians? I do not get it. The Indian economy growth story is down to 3 great people in politics. PV Rao, MMS and AB Vajpayee, the remaining politicians are incompetent and immature nincompoops with the brain of cabbage(Advani included)

For BJP to be a leading contender for power they needed to have Maya as either a pre-poll or post poll ally.

Karat just met Maya and wooed her into the UNPA. BJP has fallen between two stools. Advani's dream of occupying the PM's chair has evaporated

people are predicting Mayawati will win majority of seats in UP. It may not happen. Most prediction polls predicted BSP as the single largest party, but none predicted simple majority. Similarly this time around most are predicting 50 percent plus seats for Mayawati which may not happen. Things change rapidly look how JD(S) lost its bargaining power so rapidly in Karnataka.

Biggest tragedy

5 murderers, 2 from lalu, 2 from mulayam ad 1 from paswan, languising in jail will help to bail out dear mannu for his deal. Whether the deal is good or bad, can anyone tell me just 3 solid and genuine achievements of this mannu govt in the last 4 years ? I can only remember highest and innumerable taxes, reservations, shortages, 100% inflation, falling standard of governors and maximum unelected ministers, all thru the rajya sabha route, who donot represent the people.

The ability to fool some people all the time
by sakshi on Jul 13, 2008 12:57 PM  Permalink

This is the way to survive in political system - for individuals as well as for parties.
Some for separate state, some for separate caste group and some for language importance.
None for India and its development.
Still we survive and struggle whether we have good/bad/indifferent leaders among us to guide.
