Mayawati's Press Conference
by SUSHANT SINGHAL on Jul 12, 2008 07:55 PM  Permalink

Ms. Mayawati has made strong points which Congress and CBI must reply. It is quite clear that Congress is using CBI to hoosh hoosh its political opponents. This time, Congress is doing it to appease Mulayam Singh Yadav so as to buy his support to the minority government.

by ananth m pai on Jul 12, 2008 07:46 PM

SC/ST atrocities act, Domestic voilence bill

these rules were made in constitution to protect meek against might but when meek become might

who will save us

still today many dalits women and poor r tortured killed but no law comes to their rescue

but the same law will protect the corrupt people like maya who inspite of being just an ordinary school teacher declares assets of 94 crores and says it was all donated by poor so that she could live like a queen and rule them

oh god save me from my country

just because she has some MP's with her she aligns with BJP or cong alternately and will get away and built her statues away to glory

in karnataka they have paid each MLA 100 croes and given Ministry to each MLA who deserts the party

we can imagine the amount of money these corrupt politicians earn

we have to pay 35% tax if we earn > 5 lac and they rule us saying we r sons of soil dalit ki beti, gandhi ki bahu, ayodhya ka raam, gujarath ka garv, Mumbai ka sher and what not

we cant do anything to correct

Mayawait Oh Mayawati
by Bonaventure on Jul 12, 2008 07:39 PM  Permalink

Mayawati garbs like a pauper however there is no denying that her appearance resembles that of 'yesterday's newspaper' scattered around the house.

If CBI is to be believed that she is worth 52 crores ..... Im sure she will do something to alleviate the suffering of dalits by distributing dole.

Maya is next PM
by aoneall on Jul 12, 2008 07:35 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

After next general elections, Mayawati will form the government at centre and will become PM. NDA and BJP will become ally of Maya, similar to what Maya did in UP on earlier such occassions.

TODAY MAYA TOMORROW MULAYAM -in turns ?
by TV KUMAR on Jul 12, 2008 07:15 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The recent history of UP has shown that both these aspiring for national level stature have been made to take their turns in political alignments as well as Chief Ministership. But the irony with the largest State of India has been that after the fall of Congress which earlier had brilliant leaders of national stature with impeccable integrity like Pant, CB Gupta etc the opportunists took over the State by vicious methodology. CBI as usual may be taking turns as per convenience of the Government in Power so far as Maya Wati and Netaji are concerned. Who knows what strategy the new Government of the existing set up or of the new coalition group would adopt? As the grapevine has it that both should remain alert even in their own shells and watch the wind of the day and vote for or against in the best interest of the nation. Yet another tactic that both these great leaders can try is to unite and share half term each as Chief Ministers in UP. Both of them should then impress upon the Congress and the BJP to shake hands and share power with half the term each at the Centre. In such a scenario the country as a whole and the State in particular would progress provided the right type of leaders and not the Mafia should be put up and elected by the polity on merit integrity and not on the present day VOTE BANK POLITICS.

Maya must answer CBI's charge sheet
by Manish Airy on Jul 12, 2008 06:43 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

CBI is investigating for years & nothing has happened after withdrawal of support by her from UPA. The whole country knows that she is MOST CORRUPT. Pending court's verdict all her properties MUST be forfeited / sealed & occupants arrested & CBI to work round the clock ti pursue & convict her. Such a person should be in jail for rest of her life to avoid further damage to the nation

Mayawati is in truth is Kalawati and intellegent above all. she in fact should support the deal. UP is terribly short of power she must bargain for atlest three power projects in her state as a condition for support. this will boost her immage in her state and cash in votes.

one country - two rules
by Sandeep Mukherjee on Jul 12, 2008 06:18 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

NOTHING will finally happen to mayawati.. coz , as shenever tires of announcing, she is a " DALIT KI BETI"..in this country there r 2 sets of laws and rules for 2 categories of ppl.. 1) for normal ordinary people .( mostly men) who earn their own living and pay their taxes.. they dont hv any special privileges.. in fact on a whiff of a suspicion they r put in jail for months ( like Dr talwar)irrespective of there being any evidence agnst them or not..
2)the 2nd set of rules is for the "specials" .. mostly women.. and better still "dalits".. OBC s etc .. no matter what they do they will get away with it..
so maya cud have done whatever .. stolen howsoever much! and no matter how blatantly! whenever accused of these .. she says that others a objecting coz she is a "dalit ki beti".. meaning if ur a dalit and a woman then ur above all laws!

The problem is Not just the Meek and the Mighty,

Every Facet of Life is determined by the Constitution using Birth as a Criteria.

We Can do Something to Correct. Provided We are determined And Don't Play the Same Birth Politics.

Atleast Now, We must understand that it is Might which is Corruption people And Not Birth.
