We have been hearing this for the last 20 years, trying to convince the world "poor poor me" for evoking pity from the rest of the world--who has come to India's aid ??. The rest of the world does NOT give two hoots, unfortunately our politicians don't give a damnnn either-so long as they are in power and can rob the country.
This problem will go for ever, so long as the Porkistan' Army/ISI is in hand in hand with the extremists--which they are. As long as they (Muslims)believe and teach killing the infidels these attacks will become a way of life through out the world.
If Porkistan was USA's neighboring country the song and dance would be a different one. Our politicians have no patriotism or national pride.
The crux of the matter is that Indian talk and Indian life is both cheap. Any other self respecting country would have taken the fight straight to the heart of the enemy. just look at the US, UK< Israel etc. Our Government has no will or regard to save the lives and honor of Indian citizens. Everyone is too busy with cleaning out as much as possible from the spoils of their offices. Shame!

absolutely right ! we lack leadership of Indra Ghandhi, N.B shastri, and Patel, every one was busy in dirty poltics of nuclear deal , not even single party condemed this notorious event! Shame on you polictical parties!
If victims were Northi then why should Southi worry about that? If they were non-Marathi then why Marathi should worry about that? If they were Kannada speaking then why Bengali speaking worry about them? If they were Hindus then why non-Hindus should worry about them?
If they were from upper caste then why should lower caste worry about them?

The reason is India is in real Country of Countries only an Confedaration is worth this Forced Fedaral system creates enmity among the people. Which ever been the languages of prior to august 15 1947 should be there no out state language should be allowed in othere state to dominate all will say england rules india for 300 years but there english never destroyed indian languages like in the case of marathi out of mumbai but hindi done that in less than 61 years.

Darling most Indians ae Dravidians irrespective of which part of Inida they are from. Speaking and Aryan language does not mean you are an Aryan by race, It only means you are Aryanised.Are we English just because we comment here nad use English as our medium of communication. It only means we are Anglicised Indians. If the British had rules as for another 200 years wea would have all forgotten our mother tongues and would have started to only speak and think in Englsih.Like what happened to the Blacks in America. It stil doesn not mean we are English. The same thing happened in the North Central West and East India. The Dravidian mases forgot thoer language due to long term Aryan or other rule and adopted teh Aryan speech of thoer rulers.In reality there are hardly andy pure Aryans/West Asians in India. MOst are of upper castes are AryoDravidian mixed race mullatos. I think it is you who are jingoistic not him. He only stated that people do not have the impoes thoer language on others and it is true. Even if they are the majority. Yo do not like home truths being told so you start about jingoistic Dravidians. Showing your parochial regional mentality. remeber most of Indian culture aorund 75% is Dravidian based, as it is the culture of the masses.

Wonderful writing, but do you believe it yourself?
To me, my roots are important only for cultural activities and nothing else. So whether I am a Maharashtrian or a Naga, matters in a restricted way only.
For the rest, I am an Indian and worry about all Indians irrespective of all those labels.
And when I see innocent persons being hurt, whether Indian or not, it hurts like hell.
Yeah ok so ISI was responsible for the attack. What is India going to do about it? Nothing! We all including the Indian government will forget it in few days. I wonder if these guys in RAW work.come on RAW give us some fireworks!
The responsibility of finding culprit behind bombing was of U.S. U.S. and NATO is controlling Afghan security. But U.S. will not do it because loss of life was not American white or Israeli jew. According to U.S. the definition of terrorism is when the attack happens on American white or Israeli Jew. Even if it is proven that Pakistan was behind it U.S. will say no.
