yeah, spot on. we need police reforms urgently. the politicians use the cops like they are thier slaves. that should stop. cops like kiran bedi should give input, along with the citizens. reforms are a must.
Yup they should definetly be sued . Police takes every thing for granted and has a latheragic attitude , its team for people to wake up and stand up for their rights . 49 days in jail for being accused of killing your daughter ? Jesus Christ
The suggestion by the minister to Sue the Police & I include the Media also, which made a ruckus over the case is welcome.
However, I like to draw the attention of the Minister and others that thousands of undertrials are rotting in Jails for years without any hearing due to the inefficiency of Police & our Judicial system. Their only fault is that unlike Dr.Talwar, they are poor.
If at all as the minister suggested for compensation, all these people need to be identified immediately, released and compensated.
The Talwar family should sue the UP police and those responsible for defaming him (I saw a policeman giving statements in front of media to this effect wearing a "pagri") in such a manner. Can anybody say in absence of any proof that his wife had a ny illicit relation with somebody? What would he feel then?
Get the channel that said Talwars had booked 12 rooms in a hotel and were having a ball while their daughter lay dying. Flog them and the NOIDA police.
Who had faith in Police anyway. Rise of underworld dons is directly related to political degeneration and power hungry police. During the British days, it was a common refrain that not a leaf moved without the knowledge of Police. Now whole tree shakes and Police looks the other way.
I WOULD SAY ITS THE MEDIAS FAULT AND THEY SHOULD BE SUED...WHEN POLICE DIDNT ARREST ANYONE FPR A WEEK...THE MEDIA WENT ON MAKING ALL SORTS OF NOISE AND INDERECTLY THEY TOO BLAMED THE POLICE FOR NOT ARRESTING TALWAR...AFTER A WEEK THE POLICE ARRESTED TALWAR JUST BECAUSE THE SERVANT HAD CREATED ALL SORTS OF STORIES AND POLICE BELEIVED HIM....
