The High growth that Manmohan Singh and PC Chidambaram where flouting was the good governance provided by the NDA govt. The reality of this govt, is now showing up. Growth has slowed down. Indistrial growth has slumped to 6 years low. Indians would soon know these 2 are just advertisement faces of the congress. They may know what needs to do but don't have enough Guts or permission..Which ultimately comes down to results...

So than why that wasnt seen since 1991 till NDA came to power? i guess there was 8 years inbetween and they had nothing to show us? Kiddii Santosh.....stop pretending congress..... 60 years is lot to revolt anything.....give 6 another year to BJP you will see what exactly the advancement is....stop licking and praising congi ballastics.... Give 6 hrs thought for the 60 years congress has ruled....
Lot has been discussed and said about this Deal. The goverment will have to prove its majority before going ahead with the deal.
What happens if this goverment doesnt prove its majority is not my worry.
I am more worried if the most capable person leading our county will get a second chance to lead India again if he doesnt prove his majority.
People alway said that he was a soft guy. But see what stance this soft guy has taken to make sure that the country doesnt suffer because of some stupid politics.
We Indians Salute you Mr Prime Minister. We belive in you.

Anyone will find the agreement good for India in the first instance. There are lot of serious implications associated with the agreement, which will literally put India in hands tied situation. First of all, 123 agreement does not recognise India as a nuclear weapon state, and hence all the special privilages enjoyed by other nuclear states will be denied to India. This is the crux of bone of contention. All the five nuclear power states have the freedom to possess nuclear weapons as well as to develop/research further. As per 123, US can withdraw from agreement and take back the fuel and technology at any time. In future, if India conducts any nuclear test, surely they will stop fuel supply and force other contries to do the same. We already had the experience in case of Tarapur nuclear plant. Not only nuclear test, if US feels India does not align with their world politics, they can do the same and they will do the same. In such India will clearly be the loser after spending billions of dollars for nuclear plants and the country's dependance on nuclear energy. It essentially means, India can never have nuclear weapons as well as the right to have it, should the situation demands. We are literally have our hands tied. That is the reason all nuclear states, including China, whole heartedly supports the agreement. Without having right to have say on our own security matters, we cannot become super power at all, though traitor MMS and congress say the opposite.

This agreement open doors for India to deaql with any country. Today France & Russia are reluctant parties to a Unipolar world. They will be more than willing to supply once NSG gives it a go ahead even if US Congress kills the agreement under its Hyde act.

There is no explicit mention in 123/safe guard agreement by which one can think of this serious and critical implications and that is where most of the common people are lost. This is what exactly Bush administration projects to US congress and senate that he finally tamed India, who is non-signatory of onesided, discriminative NPT. Just because Commies are opposing, it does not mean, it is good for India. Hence the deal is cleary against our national intrest. The question here is, whether we should go for nuclear stuff from US, mainly, by giving up our right of self determination on our security matters, or not. There are hell lot of other hidden implications related to our nuclear reasearch as well
For the first time, India is siezing the initiative. We are counering obstructive, old-fashioned and anti-national elements. The future is ours. But can we embrace it? Let's go in for the N-deal. It won't just give India energy security for the future. It will the first step in the fight against 'Typical Crab-like IndianMentality'. God bless you Ms. Sonia Gndhi and Mr. Manmohan Singh. Jai Hind.

Prashant, the thorium enrichment research has been going on for the last 20 years, and nothing has comeout so far. There`s no guarantee that`ll come out for the next 20 years. Will be sitting in the dark and then blame the govt`s for the mess? Do u know that the defence minister (AK Anthony) is the cleanest that we had over the last several years as compared the Scams in the previous govts? BJP might come, but even they`ll be screwed.

are you aware of hte provisions of the hyde act and the 4 concersn the comm. party expressed. there is not even a guarantee of permanent fule supply. the scientists who are nearing retirement need a quick fix whereas the reserves in meghalaya, kerala, and ne states and south india need to be mined, refined, and enriched which is a long process, dont u read ht and toi regulary. see the ht editions of last 2 weeks front page

Mr Prasanth why are trying to use words that you your selves do not understand. wht do you know of hyde act. The deal requires the US president to go to the senate and get special stus for 123 agreement to protect india intrest. In other words this agreement ovr rides Hyde act and would have the American senate mandate or will be legally valid

You are a fool to belive thorium reseves can be expolited.. either u r ignorent or is a fool repeating some one else arguments
The communist fo the last 50 years were agaisnt close coperation with the US in any matters. Yes they feel deceived on seeing the deal as it has the potential of bringing US and India quite close as against the past. But why is the BJP against the deal.. They initiated the discusiions . but when they see some one made a better deal than they could i think they have gone jeleous and thier lie making machinery is at work. After all when hve the janasagh stood for national intrest . From the days of andaman prison where their top leader joined the british to testimony against the congress , to killing gandhi ..

These scientiests who are nearing retirement want a quick fix and dont want to do the hardwork why does us or RUSSIA, not expose their reactors first. THINK FIRST AND THEN OPEN YOU GOB.
