Your statement is kind of rude by saying Muslims are not patriotic...yeah agree that many muslims support pakistan but do remember that there are people like Abdul Kalam....and as you say Congress is gonna be put in dustbin forever..it will never happen dude....Congress is taking India a step forward...if you are not happy with the deal let it be as you view and don't take it for granted that every Indian is against the deal or actually should be against the deal....I am an Indian and I am supporting the Indo-US deal.....

u paki r afraid that under the deal.. India will have the right to do nuclear tests.. while if pakistan carry anymore test than they will face the music of USA
if any of you have bothered to read the details of the nuke deal as published by rediff yesterday, you would realise that it is a slap on the face of our nation.
i do not support either the cong. or the left or the bjp, but this deal is going to make us slaves of the united states for probably a century to come.
pls guys, read the details of the deal and then make your comments. if the deal is signed, we will just turn into slaves. pls comment after reading the details.
nuke energy is not going to make anything cheaper or cleaner. it is just going to make some people rich and powerful. the common man will only be the loser.

Nuclear trade is not dependent on US congressman...(Read the text and procedure correctly)..US will help us to clear IAEA and NSG hurdle...after that we are free to trade with anybody.

Yes the US are back stabbers etc Fortunately, their foreign policy has changed. Before they built up Pakistan as a counterweight to India. Now their long term outlook is build India as a counterweight to China (why Left is upset) and also keep check on Iran and Pakistan.
So at least in the short to medium term But the US may not backstab. But we have to remember two things:
a. it is easy for the US to take back their uranium supplied. It involves a lengthy and complicated legal process b. Our thorium based fast breeder reactors start going on stream from 2020. And as they go, we become more self-reliant. In fact, given that uranium reserves are expected to last 30 years in the world, past 2020, India is expected to emerge as one of key nuclear exporter

First let the congress stand up and give due credit to BJP and Vajpayee for bravely carrying out pokhran II. It takes to be a Man to give due credit. Shame on congress that they forgot PVN who's the father of India's economic reforms too.

- God does not give second chance to everybody.
N-deal is probably the only thing PM MM sing can be proud of while looking back at his lacklustre tenure. I'm not a nuclear scientist or even a communist to say that i understand the N-deal. But i'm pretty sure of one thing that no government sell longterm interest of India even if our politician tends to be very corrupt. But as they say someting money cant buy like this deal which'll scrunized carefully by future govts even common man in future dates. Then also one has believe when president Kalam says its good & Atomic commision Chairman Mr Kadodkar who played a crucial role during Pokhanran Nuclear Blast in 1996 headed the Indian team who negotiated the deal with US.These guys know much better & their integrity is beyond reproach.
Its just a deal & its gonna take many yrs to become productive in practical term. But in a oragic fuel deficient country like our,we essentially need other forms of energy sources. This N-deal may hopefully go long way to fullfill our ever growing energy demands without causing some nuclear catastrope.

The deal may not be the only thing MMS can boast about. Here's what Business Standard writes:
"Start with the performance of the economy. Its growth rate last year has been upped from 8.7 per cent to 9 per cent, taking the average rate of growth in the four years of the Manmohan Singh government to 8.9 per cent. I cannot think of any other government that would not make a bit of a noise about such stellar success, and draw comparisons with the record of its predecessor (5.9 per cent over six years) — showing a jump of 50 per cent. Or take agriculture, whose annual growth during the UPA term has been 3.6 per cent — again a jump of nearly 50 per cent, and the best record since the 1980s."
There is a flip side to inflation viz the farming community has perhaps never had it better in several decades. They are getting more remunerative prices for their products

History is useless .......... Future will blame Manmohan as same as Nehru
The issue of thr Nuke deal is a specialised issue, and it is very difficult for commoners like us to understand whether or not this deal is good for India. I am willing to buy the argument of our Prime Minister - after all he is the Prime Minister and should know what is best for India. But, the track-record of the USA, while dealing with other countries, is not too good. So, the doubts refuse to go.

Never be so confident. All Indians will be happy if the results of the deal are good. But, can the USA be trusted? Kalam examines the issue from a scientist's view - all very good. But is the deal safe diplomatically? Let's hope for the best.

I agree with MR Haramohan Ray.The only eternal friend of US is Israel. The other countries are to be discarded as soon as their use is over. This is the policy of the US. It will support any project as long it is beneficial for them. The same goes for the nuclear deal. We won't know when we will be ditched.SO it would be most prudent for MMS to consider this while negotiating with US. What is also so intriguing is that why is the Congress party moving on a fast track to finalise this deal even at the expanse of losing the government.. Maybe something fishy is going on.
