They will not sign this deal. It is only to divert the attention of the public from the price rise, Afzal episode etc.

PRAYER TO SUPER POWER
by Raj Mohan on Jul 11, 2008 09:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

My only prayer is keep our nation from its tragic destny. World's curse is Muslim terrorism but India's curse is facade religious fanatics. We should learn a lesson from Nepal the only Hindu nation in the world, wat they gained as a Hindu nation, Muslims have a concept that the Middle-East is rich becos of Islam but the secret is the underground liquid gold. NO RELIGION IN THE WORLD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH A NATION'S DEVELOPMENT, EDUCATION,TECHNOLOGY, SOCIAL HARMONY, HELPING EACH OTHER AND A MIND OF TOLERENCE CAN DEVELOP A NATION. Certain Hindu organizations like RSS,VHP,Sivsena and the other members of SANGHPARIWAR have a blind concept hat if person like LKA come on the thrown of Delhi, the Hindus will get prospirity, but the reality; no nation progressed becos of blind faith. FAITH IN A SUPER POWER IS MUST BUT NOT THE BLIND FAITH OR POMPOSITY. I am afraid of our nations future; the wicked politions and facade religious fanaticism can crush our nation.....

Yes, you are right. If we follow the narrow religious agenda, our Country also would not be much better than Afghanistan in the near future.

No religion or any god has ever protected any one. Search for "War Crime Tribunal" to know about the atrocities committed by the participants of WW-II, especially by the Japanse, predominently beleiving in Buddhist non-violence. The less we talk about other religions, the better.

Here is the trick to be a millionare under the UPA and MMS rule.

First start by being a Billionare, but then the sky high levels of inflation, rising fuel costs, rising real estate costs and industrial recession will then make you a Millionare from a Billionare..!!!

well here is the difference...I always called the 1962 Chinese agression on India as attack on India, you still have to make up a decision weather the 5000 Indian soldiers dead in the Indi Chinese war did they actually die fighting for India, or resisting an attempt from the fellow workers of a comme country to unite the lands of workers.

Here is where I pass the test of patriotism and you not even qualify to even appear for the test.

This is incredible that 15% want Sonia to be the PM. So, between Advani and Vajpayee, BJP got 28% votes and between Sonia, Rahul and MMS, congress got a total of 35% votes.

Looks like it will be a congress PM.

Truth is bitter
by JGN on Jul 11, 2008 09:18 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Those who are ridiculing Rediff publishing the article should note that "The Week" is owned by Malayala Manorama (MM Group) - a Christian Corporate entity.

Though I do not subscribe to the ideology of right-wing hindu parties, the followers of the Semitic religions who are ridiculing our native culture are in fact playing into their hands.

The onus for maintaining peace and harmony lies squarely on the shoulders of all citizens of our Country. You cannot expect one section of the Society to silently tolerate every thing in the name of "minority rights"! And of course I do not subscribe to the views of the honourable PM that "the minorities have first right over the resources of our Country". There should not be any discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, colour, religion or region.

Who stopped COngress from bringing reforms? It was due to Gandhi family who maintained conservative policies so that no one can dominate them in this country. To ensure that everyone is under their control they just nurtured such a policy. When Gandhi family took a break then the orphaned congressis wanted funds and they invited all industrialist including multinationals to invest in the country so that they can make some hay.Though true architect was PVN & not the "g huzoor" pupet. All their necessaites were pakced in the cover of liberalization.

Congress is a minority appeasement party. It doesnt act opon islamic terrorists. The nuclear deal may be signed even afterwards. But if the life goes by this no action on terrorists, the life cannot be brought back. So the congress is more dangerous to the nation than the benifits from nuclear deal. Therefore the congress must go first.

please get your facts straight MMS was the one of the men responsible for the situation India went into, economically, in 1990 when we had to mortgage our gold for forex. he was governor of RBI policy maker of indian economy. Again to quote his BBC interview in 1991 " Economic reforms in India towards free market is not my choice its my compulsion". Do you guys even know that countries like Germany, France are enroute to dismantle their nuclear power plants. about 20% of Germany's power is produced by burning Garbage & Delhi alone produces about the same quantity of garbage as Germany, so invest in those projects which can solve problem in long run. FYI every time MMS has been in power, as FM or as PM common man of india has found it difficult to get two square meals a day. What good are the reforms which nring large scale poverty in country. Wake up guys start analysing things,as a first step read thru the text of 123 agreemnet & decide for yourself how good is the deal for India & can we avoid Hyde Act. As long as we don't learn to see things onjectively our country will never prosper. Yes MMS does believe in actions only & has vision of pulling India back to the days he grew up in. That's why Nehruvian economics is back & reservations in the institutes which are pride of india has been introduced. Think before you talk & get your facts before you start making judgements.
