Survival of UPA Govt. at the Centre
by Govinda Bhat on Jul 11, 2008 03:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Within the 4 years of rule by UPA, they have implemented several welfare measures, of course, with the support of Left parties. Now there is a major / very important national issue is before the UPA, i.e. Energy crisis. Realizing the gravity of the situation and, in a bid to overcome this crisis, UPA has thought fit to enter into a Nuke-deal with US. In fact, Left is also not against such a Nuke-deal, their main object is that it is with US. Had this deal with with Russia or China or any other communist country, they would have whole-heartedly welcomed such arrangement. Now they are prentending to be more patriotic than any other political parties in India. With regard to BJP's stand on the issue, they are oppositing just because they are on the opposition bench. They do not want to give credit to any other parties in India. They want to shine again in the matter in case they are voted to power once again at the Centre. They are really shrewed and are really trying to fool the masses. We have had seen their reign for some years and when one compares their performance, no doubt the present UPA Govt's performance is far far better. We had also experienced several hardships under their rule also - to quote they had also hiked the price of petroleum products moe than 2-3 times, corruption at all levels etc. The global inflationary trend has also influenced our nation's inflation. Hope this will change very soon and will be appreciated by all in the near future. KGBhat

You forgot the incident of Bangladesh Rifles have kidnapped our soldiers. Our soldiers have been brutally tortured and murdered by BDR. Their mutilated bodies were returned after so many days. There were tortured for many days and had mark on all over their body. ALL THIS HAS HAPPENED DURING NDA RULE. None of this fake nationalist had guts to take action against tiny and beggar country Bangladesh.

And interestingly all of these have been very beneficial for India and world recognised India basically on these fronts.

So its like a litmus test - Draft the policy, throw it to BJP, if they sniff and bark, APPLY IT!!

I have written so many times that deal is not bad, but needs deep discussion and some modification. This is not a matter of hurry. Why MMS (or WMS) is in hurry?
