We understand he is a lawyer by profession but he is always a LIAR by work & habit.

The BEGGAR INDIA
by RAJ on Jul 11, 2008 11:09 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Semi literate indian middle class need only slogans and knowing this Congress starting from Nehrivian times ( eg Public sectors are temples of development)this has been continuing to mislead the people and redirect the attention from real issues.

One billion people ( out of which 600 Million lives in less than a $ per day), have been seeing this drama of Nuclear for the last several months as if once this is signed we will become a developed world.

Why do we give so much importance to signing a deal which can maximum bring 8% of our energy needs?

Dont we have other pressing issues which requires attention of the Government?

It doesnt matter whether this deal is good or bad, what matters is whole government machinery has been paralysed for long for an one pint agenda which creates a solgan for Congress.

Why should BJP support the Gvt.
by Amit on Jul 11, 2008 11:07 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

May be BJP can get the same or even better deal once they are in power. very less chances that India would not get this deal in future given the rising oil demand, world would be happier if India uses lesser oil. And supporting the govt. at this point of time would be political suside for BJP cause definately by this time next year inflation will dip on BASE effect. And BJP will again loose the elections for sure. so no need to go for it to help congress, which anyway is no All saints party.

Thats why India lags Behind all nation inspite of Resources, Timing is important --
1)Indian polititians never care for the timing.China has already signed one deal with US -work has started -- US & Russia has also signed Deal.
2)Dr.Kalam,Mr.Brajesh Mishra(BJP Advisor),other non-congress etc. are experts & visionary--they know the timing--- by the time India makes next goverment & sign the deal , it will take more 1-2 yrs.(already we took 2 yrs for this negotiation) -- we would lose the crucial time (more thn 3 yrs) -- china and other countries will be far ahead.
3) Any how even by supporting & signing the deal, advani's BJP would get in drivers seat in next year election -- And Mr.Advani could not decrease the inflation as oil prices are not in his control -- we have seen what they did in last government (cylinder prices rose to 300 Rs - Ram Naik was petroleum minister)-- their vision is narrow sighted -- only making political issue for bigger gain - only for himself & Party!!!
----- History will always ask questions?

I was fully with the congress till yesturday. This morning I woke up to a surprise in Indian Express. Pl read the article and I bet you too will join Karat's party to oppose the N-Deal. It is not a N Deal, it is D-Deal for the country.
Do you know one thing these IAEA board is trying to restrict your future options.
This is a deal between Bush and MM, so that India's development options are curtailed. Bush has never favoured India in his tenure. His priority was - is - and will be Pakistan.
Even today in Kabul Blast, Bush has never condemned Pak & ISI.

Hi all,

In front page of the Indian Expresee there is an article, which has analysed the deal with experts comments. Pl read and comment. Don't waste time.
According to Indian Expresee report, India can't go to any other countries in future and even it can't pull out of the agreement ever in future. This means you are permanently married to these US, France or certain countries whose interest is to sell the N Material to India at their price.
This is not acceptable. Thsi is the reason, according to Expresss, which has been hidden by Congress hoitherto.

Do you think you understand better than Manmohan singh about what country needs and what not? Communists are just playing to china's preference. BJP is desparate for power. So anything cong does is against national interst. We have to learn from communists who sided with enemies during freedom struggle and BJP for sleeping during struggle. Who are these people talking about national interst now? NO body will help you free. business is business, not service.

Precisely the question one could ask why doesn't SP allow a free vote to their MPs?... :-)

By the way, just because A Nuclear Deal is in national interest, doest not automatically mean that THIS Nuclear Deal is also in national interest....

that's where you are really making an erroneous judgment..
