When was BJP formed? I bet you don't know..

And by the way, India wasn't handed over to BJP on a platter like how Congress got it, despite the Rashtrapita's express wishes against it

Mr. Debesh:

Kindly clarify a doubt of mine which I have been asking you for a long time on this forum...

How do all the scientists know so much about a secret deal which Mr. Pranab Mukherjee was so keen only people in government should know about?

And if they knew nothing -- obviously those scientists only know that A Nuclear Deal is good for the country, but not necessarily THIS Nuclear Deal...

Kindly awaiting an answer at least this time around..

Can BJP play a role of BIG brother to congress?
by Pankaj Ramani on Jul 11, 2008 12:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If BJP has any analytical mind , they should GRAB this opportunity and TURN this tide in their favour. They hv to support the congress on N-deal.They should ask 4 support votes NOT the no-confidence motion against congress at this juncture .After this deal is pushed , say by 15th August they can ask Congress to prove the majority in the house. With this they can achieve following
1)Project themself as a Nationalist/Partiatic Party.
2)Make congress look SMALL.
3)Fight the election on issue of Nationalism/Patriotism.With support 2 N-deal,this issue TIMING of election will NEVER be a constraint.
4)Break the chines hidden ambassador Mr.Karats back and dream of spoiling the game.

Whole world is aware that it was YOU who moved 4 this N-deal that 2 in very shabby manners.Congress has done better on this.We cannot waste time 4 doing STILL better and MISS the bus itself.

All the educated class knows WHAT is going around , with the new election re-distribution of voying poppulation with major chunck going to urban voters areas( which comprises of educated ppl )...dont try to fool them.

Instead of toppling the Gov now , SAVE them for 1 year and GET SYMPATHY votes to pull out 300 seats in 2009.

LEFT FRONT has withdrew support and congress led UPA came in minority.BJP supports nuke deal without HYDE ACT.UPA sud amend nuke deal with USA.In democracy every party has own view.Congress sud respect others views. But here congress made single agenda to win gespite high inflation. If nuke deal is good for india then was congress sleeping in 2007?It is political gimic.Except NDA no other party wants election becoz they failed in governance and also failed to check high inflation.Current trade dificit is 10%.UPA ia faled on all fronts.

by All Right on Jul 11, 2008 01:30 PM  Permalink
Mr. Ramani:

1) BJP is already solid in their nationalistic image. Don't need unnecessary "projections" like Congress.
2) Congress has already their foot in their mouth. No need to belittle them further, they are exposed for everyone to see.
3) BJP can fight the election very well on their current strengths. Refer Point 1) above.
4) Karat's back is already broken by Congress thank you very much.

NDA did move this deal initially. But not in the hasty and shabby manner Congress has approached it. Congress has done better on this, you feel? I don't think so. Point me out why didn't they have enough confidence in themselves to take everyone along? Why did they have to make it "support it" OR ELSE?.. :-)
Inclusive politics is not played in this fashion. Congress must learn the art of coalition dharma -- as perfected by NDA during its comparatively perfect tenure.

Your guess about educated class being aware is perfectly right. Hence all these gymnastics and "lies galore" of Congress is coming into limelight. 20 years back, nobody would have known what's going on. Now Congress must pay the price for its follies.

Instead of SOMEHOW cobbling 272 members together, Congress should call for a fresh election, if it can't muster enough support. BJP will get 300 seats anyway in 2009 or whenever the elections are held.

Sitaram Yechury is surprisingly silent on the N-deal vs CPM issue. He is the Congress mole in CPM and his silence amounts to his sidelining and lack of trust on him by the party and his backstabing of CPM by not articulating the party stand at this juncture. Or the CIA purchased Yechury?

Like the Bokran (Initiated by the previous Govt. and executed by the Scientists - just when BJP was ruling), Panchayatraj (Drafted and Documented by Shri Rajiv Gandhi but unfortunate that brought to public by the BJP), They want the N-Deal too be like that. This Coalition govt. will do all the ground work - BJP will topple this govt. - and if they come to power the next time they will sign the treaty and say It's Advani Ji who Signed or put thumb impression on the N-deal document - Like Mr Vajpayee executed the Pokran.

Do you know in whose regime was the N-Deal initiated?... I bet you don't know.

Thats why India lags Behind all nation inspite of Resources, Timing is important --
1)Indian polititians never care for the timing.China has already signed one deal with US -work has started -- US & Russia has also signed Deal.
2)Dr.Kalam,Mr.Brajesh Mishra(BJP Advisor),other non-congress etc. are experts & visionary--they know the timing--- by the time India makes next goverment & sign the deal , it will take more 1-2 yrs.(already we took 2 yrs for this negotiation) -- we would lose the crucial time (more thn 3 yrs) -- china and other countries will be far ahead.
3) Any how even by supporting & signing the deal, advani's BJP would get in drivers seat in next year election -- And Mr.Advani could not decrease the inflation as oil prices are not in his control -- we have seen what they did in last government (cylinder prices rose to 300 Rs - Ram Naik was petroleum minister)-- their vision is narrow sighted -- only making political issue for bigger gain - only for himself & Party!!!
