For a country like India 6 or 10% power is quite huge. You dont need big brains to see this.... germany is the country which use solar energy the most... almost 50% of installed capacity of solar energy in the world is in germany... but even that is only 0.6% of germany's total energy need... do they dont use it???

BJP is over confident now! Adwani has already stiched his suite for the PM ship! if you remember, this same over confidence, over optimissm pulled their legs down in the last LOK SABHA election!! This is going to be a great historic moment in the parliamentary history of the nation & Iam sure that the govt. will win the trust vote. Most of the parties opposing the deal are actually taking part in a play, where every character & part of each party has been fixed up. I am sure the govt. will win the "Trust Vote" of the intelligent parliamentarians of this great country (who have to take their own stock of situation (Antar-aatma), even if it feels crossign the party boundaries) and this deal should go in the "Hisotry books" of India. It is a fact in this globe (at present) that no great deal can be secured without the help of US. US has blocked many-a-roads for many-a-countires, whom it feels are against it. And if it is supporing India through getting the NSG & IAEA clearance, then what is the harm? It is supporting us and have also left out a few loop-holes to support India in future.
If this deal is for India, then why the RIGHT parties (NDA) & LEFT blocking it.
Yesterday only, I came to know th: some Private News Channel that France gets nearly 70% of its energy through Nuclear plants, and few other get around 20-30%, then why (in this globalization scenario) should India be left out of this? It needs energy to sustain its fast paced development.
Once deal is signed, India may get the technological support from France, UK, Russia etc., but the 1st step to get clearance from IEAE & NSG is the big issue.

Majority of the MPs were against the deal, before Amar Singh changed his mind, when he was in USA recently, for reasons best known to him and Mulayam Singh. If the deal was so good it would not hv happened.
Later also the next President will b ready to sign the deal, as it is very good for them. We should not sign it, till Hyde act is not declared to b unapplicable.
