Make in India a Secular state
by URMILA NATARAJAN on Jul 11, 2008 07:29 PM  Permalink

Whoever comes to power next time, their only aim shall be to make India a secular state, not a pseudo secular one. I pray to the almighty to give better sense to the people of Kerala and WB to give a negative verdict-at least this time- to your double talking hypocratic and feudalist communists

Mookerjee went to visit Kashmir in 1953, and went on hunger strike to protest the law prohibiting Indian citizens from settling in a state in their own country and the need to carry ID cards, and was arrested on 11th May while crossing border. Although the ID card rule was revoked owing to his efforts, he died as detenu on May 23, 1953 under mysterious circumstances. His death in custody raised wide suspicion across the country and demands for independent enquiry, including earnest requests from his mother, Jogmaya Devi to the then Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. Unfortunately no enquiry commission was set up and his death remains a mystery.

Advani is an 80 year old Buddha!
by mar gaya on Jul 11, 2008 07:21 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Advani should remember that he is an eighty year old Buddha who has trouble walking while Obama is 40 something. There is no comparison between the two. I think Advaniji needs help even tying his dhoti.

Please explain how can Hyde act be in the national interest. How does closing down our newly renovated Cirus reactor stands for national interest. Even until 1930, going by the deal, we can only satisfy 5% of our energy needs, at three times the normal cost
