The PM and Congress could have handled the nuclear deal better if concerned parties as left and even BJP taken into confidence from the beginning. It appeared to be one man show i.e.only PM is in the forfront all the way. If Prime minister had gone public one way or the other most of the fire-fighting and ordeal of seeking trust-vote could have been avoided. Now it appears-whatever may be the outcome-that the parties voting merely for their political expediency and not for merits of the deal which should have been that way. Anyhow let face it and wait for outcome and be wise next time.

Not possible. The Left's objections had been incorporated in the 123 Agreement. And yet the Left says don't proceed with the agreement.
The BJP's opposition is simply to prevent Congress taking the credit for a watershed deal and running away with BJP's urban vote base
India has suddenly got some spiritual illumination to push further the deal with a person of highest esteem and self respect that is Dr Manmohan who is above polititics and always done his job for the benifit of mankind .He did in 1991 under able leadership of late PM PVN and made India a super economic power with in 17 years and again he is going to do another liberisation of nuclear power for next generation development .India need 5 lakh MW power in coming 15 years and our supply is only 1 lakh MW at present .So there is huge gap and to seal the gap Dr. has done a great job by pushing further nuclear deal against the opposition of some parties though the oposition for mear shake cannot stop India to sign the deal.India has got a spriritual power now and no body can stop .Even Godman like Sri Sri Ravisankar also backing the deal .BJP actually made a very low category politics with the help of Leftist facist .BJP even never bother to discuss the matter with Atalji ,the architect of 1991 liberisation with tacit support to PVN .What happen to Atalji ,a statesman per excellence? Is he out of power from BJP leadership or the present leadership made him silent for getting their own vested interest in politics and doing all kind of narrow politics like leftist .Do we want to see BJP is working with the guidance of leftist in future ?Nation and all Indians want to know the status of Atalji at this crisis moment of BJP leadership which is realy pathetic and unimaginable .

This so-called gentleman has taken support of the notorious SP. End of argument. Also first he said it would be nuclear terrorism to put out IAEA text and now it is all over the Internet! Let us not forget that is economist has never won an election and dances to Madam Sonia's tune. Inflation is at 12% and he is focusing on nuclear deal which will provide only 6% of energy by year 2020.

I have no doubt, its just another side of the Communists. Even BJP has opposed the nuclear deal, and i just cant beleive it. & I wont vote any more. May be, I`ll consider voting if MMS stands for PM once again. Otherwise no even to congress.

It was the BJP who initiate the Nuclear Deal before 2004 but BJP intentions were to make India Superpower by 2020.
Nuclear Deal, Golden Triangle, National highways linking were all dreamt by ATAL BIHARI.

It's worth looking into their points. There are so many unanswered questions. And then Congis trying to rush to it, a suspecious behaviour.
BJP is more reliable when it comes to national interests. Others are proven foreign agents and/or simply looters.

BJP oppose the deal because they want the PM to assure that India will have to rights to conduct Nuclear Tests in future.

Rediff may not be pro congress.Like any other media it is enjoying the tamasha.Like the reality shows filling coffers by inviting SMSs, rediff is publishing irrelevant but provocative news and inviting comments in order to make the youngsters sitting in the call centres to keep hooked (logged on ) to Rediff website. And whenever any adverse comments put the web site to risk, they remove it saying Report abuse. Normally when a non Congress government is on the verge of losing majority, the Governors give a deadline to the CM for getting a trust vote. Here the PM who has already lost the numbers, is telling the President that he will go for the trust vote sooner and WILL GIVE THE DATE to the President shortly. JAI CONGRESS!

I as an hindu (Sanathan dharma Believer) dont agree with you...I think Humanity and belief in Almighty is a better answer to all the question posed.
We have heard about sardarhi jokes. But this sardar is very clever and he has planned and fooled the Communists for more than 4 years and enjoyed the power for more than 4 years.
AMAR SINGJI WHO HAS UNDERSTOOD THE NUCLEAR AGREEMENT WITHIN A FEW SECONDS IN CONSULTATION WITH ABBDDULL KALAAM AND BECAME NATIONALIST OVERNIGHT HAS BEEN CONFERRED WITH THE FATHER OF THE NATION INSTEAD OF MAHATMA GANDHI.

Amar Singh understood the agreement when there were some changes made by manmohan singh and sonia. The changes which will appear only in the indian version of the Agreement will read
Clause No.4.20 In the event of the this agreement be understood (or pretended to be understood) by the Samajwadi Party, the congress party with sonia as president of the party, and Prime Minister Man Mohan singh ji, will confer upon them as per their demand the ministries of their choice. It is also understood, that in the next elections they will be the preferred partners of the congress, and whoever says anything wrong about the Samajwadi party (including Rahul Gandhi ) will be asked to summarily keep quiet.

BUT CERTAINLY LESS THAN MAN MOHAN SINGH, WHO IS SUPER GREAT. AFTER LICKING THE LEFT'S FOOT FOR FOUR YEARS, FAILING TO CONTROL THE PRICES, FAILED TO CONTROL TERRORISM, SCRAPPING POTA ETC, MAAAN MOHAN HAS BECOME SUPER BRAVE WHILE IN JAPAN, WHICH IS GREAT THAN AMAR SINGJI.
Only after the super clever Manmohan singh opened his mouth in Japan, the Left widhdrew their support. Manmohan singh for the past four years was ENJOYING PWER,licking Left's foot and dancing to their every tunes. After failing to control prices, Dancing to the tunes of regional parties, failing to control terrorism in this contry for the past four years, suddenly he has become BRAVE when he is in Japan.
Let us all wish that MMS be always brave, and let him be in Japan itself. -By MMS fan club.

Must be tough to be a commie with everyone telling you to go to China on a one way ticket.
To rub salt into the wound, the Congress just political outmaneuvered the commies.
So did you shrink ask you to post messages as sort of catharsis?

Those who praise the 'outmanouvering' will realize what he has done in the coming years. He has outmanouvered the common citizens of India. He has outmanouvered the democratic traditions of India. One thought he was a man of integrity, but surely after his latest actions, has shown he is plain dishonest.

It is beyond my comprehension to understand that why did Mr. Man Mohan Singh waste Two and a half years trying to console & cajole immature Commies who don't understand ABC of International Politics and Strategic Alliances. This decision should have been taken by him two years back. Moreover if the Opposition Parties in the Parliament were trying to play cheap Politics i.e. the policy of opposition for the sake of Opposition then The Congress could have come out in the open and asked for a REFERENDUM from the general masses on, " whether we should go in for accepting the Nuclear Deal in the Interest of the nation as a whole. - YES/ NO ". (After all now we have electronic voting machines. It would have consumed maximum ONE MONTH. It would have further saved the country from un-necessary expenses on account of conducting huge expense on full fledged elections). I am dead sure that the masses would have voted 80% in favor of Man Mohan Singh..... That would have left the opposition fending to save its face and we would have clinched the deal long back... That would have given remarkable impetus to our Industrial & Agricultural Growth. anyway better late than never....!!!

Let the govt. have a referendum. It is surely gonna be a big 'NO'. If those who claim that the large majority are for the deal, why didn't (or still doesn't) resign and call for election with the nuclear deal as the main issue??
