Commie stooge
by prashant on Jul 10, 2008 03:46 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

PKIyengar is a commie stooge and can not be trusted. This same bugger had made life hell for many prominent scientists in BARC. His speciality was to publish his juniors research work in his own name and that's how he has risen. Certainly not a trustworthy person to comment on a subject of national importance.

My point is , Dr.Kalam is a trusted name. One can safely believe in what he is saying. PM may not be dashing James Bond, but no one in his senses can accuse him of being corrupt. I would not have believed in this deal if it was proposed by any other politician whether from Congi or BJP. Both are crooks and Commies are traitors.

How far this deal will be beneficial to us
by pradeep ray on Jul 10, 2008 03:45 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

UPA says this deal is for the sake of India.

NDA says it is unacceptable in this form.

Left withdrew support against this deal.

SP was earlier against the deal and now it steps forward to support UPA in favour of the deal.

Dr. abdul Kalam assured that we require this deal.

Now Scientists say this is not India-specific.

Hmmmm... really confusing. Who are correct and who are wrong? Whom do we believe the most??

I think this is why centre was reluctant in publishing the text so far... Before only the Left and few others were confused, Now 1 Billion are confused and each have their own perception... 1 billion that is.

Nuke Deal
by Sandipan Sen on Jul 10, 2008 03:44 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Isn't it desirable that the government makes the draft public before signing? Let the people understand whether it is prejudicial to the national interest. Otherwide, we might think that there is substance in the left leaders' point.

Nuclear energy is core to the Security council and world hegemony. It will be sad if India signs the deal in such a hurry. You cannot have 48 % of the parliament not voting for the deal. It is simply not about majority. The documents are signed off by some prominent scientists. Im sure we are not qualified to read it and pass judegements on it. Moreover remember the country is paying a cost for it. OUr children/grand children are going to pay the price for it.

In democracy the people should decide. Scientist can be experts in the field, but definitely that can explain things in laymans terms and the public can make a decision. If scientist were to make a decision, the we should not call this a democracy.

Agree with you that we should not sign this agreement in a hurry and pawn our country for our children and grand-children to pay for it. If our forefathers fought and gave us freedom, let us at least not give slavery to our next generation.

Sit and Dream!
by reema on Jul 10, 2008 03:42 PM  Permalink

Sit and Dream..sit and beg..sit and pray in your deep well! someone will give you all what you want for free at your terms and conditions!

So the only option for insecure losers like these, is to cut themselves off from the rest of the world and live in their own fools paradise of their comfort zone. Taxpayers afterall give money to give salary to all white elephants like you and you can get away with shoddy work and assembled and imported parts to make your 'INDIGENOUS' rockets and missiles work anyway!
