I the MMS would have given generous promise during bushs india visit. that may be the reason now PM(?) want to concentrate on the controversial Ndeal forgetting about suffering the poor because of very high inflation.

one thing, not sure what is the point you are trying to make with number 4.
If going by your logic and tying people of entire community to someone's ill actions than Hindus are foremost opposer of the deal as BJP is opposing it.
Grow up man, instead trying to dividing country more and more on religion line atleast return some of your India by stopping to communalize it more.
Ny ways on the article above, good to see N-Deal going making progress after such a long stand still.

Good observation Potan !! Nevertheless, did you go through the clauses yourself instead of relying on other's judgement. Finally, it is you and me who would be effected in long run, should it not be your interest to read the text & then comment ??

you idiot...bjp and shiv sena are together..and might i add shiv sena is opposing the deal
We should demand from our MPs that they vote according to their conscience, not on party lines, if there is a vote of confidence. I am sure the deal will go thru.

do you want to say majority of the our MPs are consulting people and raise their voices?
People dont want currption- how many parties in principle wants to root out the curruption? People want Good health care - what is Indias rating?
All there will be some goondas, ciriminal and selfish lobbyist behind them. thir voices are represented well in indian political system
Do you find balance of power?
Atleast do they elect a president according to the people will?

Atleast India is governed by government elected by people not by the military junta. If it were Pakistan at this stage either we would be seeing a coupe overnight, or bomb blasts happening at various places.
Just look at what has extremists done to Pakistan and have maligned the community itself.

Maybe the LEFT leaders think that they are experts in Nuclear science. Its only traitors like Karats and his cohorts who are spreading rumours, and misleading innocent people into trying to obstruct this treaty which is the first major step by India to get out of 3 decades of isolation. Whoever opposes this deal is either too naive to beleive traitors like LEFT or they really donot want India to progress. These are the same LEFT leaders who opposed Rajiv Gandhi when he introduced India to IT, these LEFT parties oppose: 1) Modernisation of Roads / Airports 2) They want India to keep on running sick Govt run companies and keep loosing billions every year. 3) They want Indian Govt to bear full cost of the Fuel prices, and than raise taxes and collect the money from handful of salaried people in cities. Thereby crushing the common working class people. 4) They vehemently oppose Privatisation of Power stations as they want theft of electricity to continue by land mafias who are directly controlled by LEFT. LEFT is extremely anti-common Indian citizen. They are Pro paki, and Pro China...for them its their Comrades in china who are more important than common Indian man.

The moment I stepped out of Railway Station, the damn roads full of pits, drainage/sewage filled road sides and pavements oh.... i understood one thing nothing was done for the past 30 years. If the british haveny built those buildings and bridges then I think kolkotta was not there now...

Left opposition to modernisation is on technical grounds, for Delhi has given privatised the power distribution in Delhi, still no relief even after 6 yrs. Any improvement in public interaction ?? Infact it got worse. Goons come to collect monies from genuine middle class families. Telecom is privatized....did you ever get a proper grievance redressal from the private telcome providers ?? Are you happy with the redressal ?? Do not comment if you do not know what is moderanization ?? and it impacts the society.

so you favour the system where you have to run from pillar to post to get your small small things done, the red tapism and the amount of bribes that you have to pay at each step to get a work done at Govt. office is disgusting. The amount of money which India looses on account of Govt. own white elephants is taken out from the pockets of aam aadmi.
The deal by any which way you look at it, seems OK and there is no reason for the great concern that the BJP and the Left is expressing!
But why is the Congress party handling it in this manner .
First there was the flip flop on whether they will go ahead or save thier government ?
Then there was suddenly a big move forward witha go-to-hell message to Karat and Co.
Then there was this commitment by Mukerjee that the government will go to IAEA only after winning a vote of confidence - but just hours later they go ahead .
The Congress seems to be the biggest enemy of the deal! This would only lead to more supporters of the deal getting worried that the Congress is hiding something !

Nobody knows what is the draft consist of... even Congress allies were kept out of the draft.. Communists never saw the draft... And whether Lalu sees it or not, it is inconsequential. BJP, on the other hand, was always kept out despite being a promenient Nationalist party... BJP has not seen a single word of the draft... Now Congress while lacking majority has gone to IAEA...
RE:Who si working against the deal ?
by Guest on Jul 10, 2008 04:16 AM Permalink
They had to rush to the IAEA ASAP. Pranab Mukherjee miscalculated when he told that they will approach IAEA only after winning a trust vote.If the deal needs to be crystallised they needed to move at break neck speed and as there was uncertainty around the Number Game for the voting, I think it made sense for Congress to proceed with IAEA now or never.I think UPA is confident that they will have the necessary numbers when it goes to the floor.BJP is unnecessarily creating a lot of hue and cry over this deal.Brajesh Mishra gave it a clean chit. They are opposing just for the heck of opposing it.They should realise that majority of the Indian population are in favour of the deal.
WHAT CONGRESS HAVE DONE FOR THE COUNTRY IN THE PAST.... 1) THEY ARE THE FOREFATHERS TO HAVE DIVIDED INDIA INTO SEVERAL ARAB STATES... 2) SARDAR PATEL GETS STABBED IN THE BACK :- PAKISTANI FORCES AND PAKISTAN BACKED MUSLIM TRIBALS OCCUPY KASHMIR .PATEL ORDERS INDIAN TROOPS TO CRUSH THE PAKISTANIS AND FORCE THEM OUT EVEN IF THEY HAVE TO CROSS PAKISTAN ITSELF .AS THE INDIAN FORCES HAD PUSHED THE PAKISTANIS OUT OF OVER HALF OF KASHMIR , NERU, BEHIND PATELS BACK ,CALLS IN THE UN ,ON THE SO CALLED LINE OF CONTROL ,IN KASHMIR ..PATEL RESIGNED SOON AFTER THAT BETRAYAL . 3)UNDER NERUS RULE INDIA LOSES A LARGE PART OF INDIA TO CHINA . 4)CONGRESS CREATES BINDRAWALLA TO TRY TO DESTROY THE AKALI PARTY . 5)EVERYONE SHOULD REMEMBER WHEN THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT SIKHS WERE MASSACRED BY CONGRESS WORKERS AFTER INDRA GANDHI WAS SHOT DEAD. 6)CONGRESS ARE MINORITY APPEASERS TO TRY TO CREATE VOTE BAGS. 7)CONGRESS ARE BIG FOLLOWERS OF CORRUPTION...

Mr Sudhakar Chimpu!!!! Do you really think Congress got the independence for us... Please come out of the knowledge you got from the history books. The syllubus is designed by the Congress govt. IF Congress could get the independence why did it not happen before world war 2. You got independence because UK was not considered as number 1 after world war 2. They lost the control of India and most of the world. They could successfully break the country into two before they left. I would not say all credit goes to our leaders but they really did a great thing by uniting the whole nation and Nehru, whom I had a great feeling for him during my school days is a coward like anything and he did not had a vision. Even tough our leaders are well educated by the time of independence, they could not lead the country properly. Look at Japan which got totally devastated during second world war is currently performing. See the growth of China, which is a communist country fdrom begining. You have all the resources and people having good education still we are like this and every one including me (I dont have to feel bad for accepting the fact) are not taking any step for making it successful. All have accepted the fact that we have to struggle with the current scenario. It is the congress govt and its selfishness which the cause for the current situation of the country. I am not a fan of BJP till they went ahead with the nuclear tests and proved the world that India is not a country o

India earned its independence cos British needed their own soldiers to protect them after WWII as they had lost millions of their people in the war. Also they had no use left of India, as they had already shipped all the wealth out of India by 1947, as they needed that money to construst their country

Hello Madam.. Yes madam I do agree that we are in this position due to the congress govt. It is the PV Narsimha Rao's govt which opened the flood gates. But what has congress done to him. When he died during Congress rule, they did not even allow him to have Samaadhi at Delhi. They are the people of selfishness. Indira Gandhi started corruption to have beauracrats listen to her and see how corruption is gone deep. Before BJP govt, can a normal guy afford travelling by plane. Or can a Auto driver afford carrying a mobile? The nation before 98 and now is a lot difference and the change is initiated by the BJP. People do not understand it and parties like Congress want to push the country into poverty and take the advantage of it and again come to the power and rule the nation. Let me tell you a fact that the growth of Indian Railways before the BJP govt was mere 10% after the independence and all the rail lines and network that you see were happened before the independence by British. Railways was in mere losses. Nitish Kumar started revolutionising it and Lalu is continuting it. So please come out of the conception the we are like this because of Congress.

BJP can only do one thing, join hands with traitors LEFT and take Indian people to ransom. They want India to remain at the mercy of pakistan and Iran for gas/fuel supply. They want India to rather pay 1 billion dollar a year to Pakistan for transit rights. They dont want India to be self sufficient in producing its own power.
