Its shocking to go by the BJP, the party which carried out the POKHRAN II is not supporting the nuke deal. Yhey are fully aware of the fact that there is a power crisis in the couuntry amd to excel and become world leaders one needs energy. The ex president whom they regards the most has supported the deal there NSA in their govt supports the deal. In the heart of heart they also support the deal but because of petty politics they are against it. It is also fully clear that such parties are working against the national intrest . The left parties are working for countries which do not want india to become a superpower and thus the BJP also stands a party to it

Dear Rakesh,
Pl do not be under the impression that Nuclear Energy is the Panacea for all our power ills. It will contribute a mere 2% to the existing power generating capacity, that too at an enormous cost of around 10/- Rs per unit as of now. Pl do not cry hoarse when you have to pay @20/- Rs per unit later.
Except Anil Kakodkar, no other former chief of AEC is in favor of signing the deal "IN ITS PRESENT FORM" and so are the BJP and the Communists. As for MMS is concerned, the less said the better.

:-) Hey Southie.... read the story and then comment.. :-)
It is this "comment on the headlines" stuff you guys are doing for the past year that is ensuring this petty government is still retaining SOME credibility in the lower 5% IQ strata.... :-)
My dear friends if the N deal so good and is in the interest of the country why dont PM resigns and call for election iam sure people of india are intelligent enough and if its real worth Our PM will come with full majority and sign the deal do he need to bully and play dirty politics and do horse tradding for the benefit of our country???? just think about it. Pm be courageous today when u meet President ask to call for an election and come back courageous and let people decide the fate of N Deal By Indian

People of India who vote for people like Mayawati, Laloo, Karat, and LEFT can be hardly called intelligent, they are rather emotional. Its laughable to see the other day a shanty jhuggi dweller carrying a board of Anti N-Deal protest, do they know the real deal, or politics behind it? Are Indian people really that much intelligent to understand the intricacy of N-Deal, when they cant even choose the right politician to represent them.

The Juggi dweller is better than you, he atleast don't pretend educated and intelligent like you. Do you know the T & C of this deal, whiach congress is hiding? What is the difference between you and the juggi dweller he is carrying Anti Deal placard and you are carrying Pro-deal placard, without knowing the inside story.

Your arrogance shows through. But what surprises me is the cause for your arrogance.
Your education, or should we say, your literacy. Or your cultural superiority over people who vote for people like Laloo, Karat, Mayawati.
What kind of judicial intelligence are you exercising when you vote for a guy like Modi, Tytler, D P Yadav or even MMS.
It is the best among the Worst, right? And that too, in your opinion. Alas, opinions are like shit holes. Everyone has them.
So dont proffer your intelligence on whom the shanty jhuggi dweller should vote. S/he will vote according to their conscience, just as you will. And let the majority rule, as always. That is democracy, and that is what we have enshrined in this constitution. You may laugh, just as others are, at you.

Good joke... I suppose you are an expert on Majority and Minority governments.... or were you expecting Mayawati to sign the deal?... :-)
As it stands either MMS or Maya has equal credibility in the Parliament noticing that neither has a clear cut majority.. :-)
When will our countrymen(Hindus & Muslims) what is the meaning of secular. Amar singh & party gave it a anti-pro muslim angle to it. Congress think reserved seats for muslims even in Indian army and laloo keeps asking why he cannot have a saperate additional quota for muslims for reservations in Indian railways. Irony is they still call them secular. On the contrary a party who raises voice if Amarnath Land transfer is revoked or 100 Karsevaks are burnt in Godhra is called communal.

Bhaumik, And Congress who allies with Muslim league or PDP are secular ? or SP who only talks about Muslims votes are secular ?
BJP is the party opportunist, fraud and hypocrite bunch of jerks who mislead gullible masses by creating all sorts of confusion. Religion is their main plank. So far, they have been using hindu fundamentalist, now on their eve of N-deal, they have started using muslim fundamentalist. After reaching Pakistan, their leaders are known to speak truth, they let people know 'saddest day' of their life and worship 'Jinnah' as their hero.

So label them all communal and only vote for the secular BJP in the coming elections.. :-)

Hey Landiya, pl get out, What u meant by v, all landiays, i am not a fan of BJP also, but i have to say you landiayas are a "bhoj" to the world.
I am very very disappointed in BJP playing cheap politics against the N-deal which BJP knows very well that is in India's best interest. Even after Vajpayee and Brajesh Mishra (who negotiated the deal under Vajpayee) gave it a clean chit, BJP is playing cheap politics. Just for this reason, I may not support BJP in the next election.
Where is your patriotism, Mr. Advani? How can a cunning fox like you who can sabotage a good deal that is in the Interests of India for cheap political gains? Can you honestly say you are morally qualified to be PM of India. Man Mohan Singh stands taller and honest when compared to you. Shame on you for taking BJP in this shameful route.

BN, shame on you for casting aspersions on aspersions of a leader as senior as Mr. Advani. I ask you are you aware of the details about the agreement? Have you seen the draft, have you read the nitty gritties? Are you aware at what cost you we will get the electricity (if and when that happens? ), Are you not aware of the track record of the US - Tarapur nuclear reactor? And finally WHAT ARE THE GAINS TO THE NATION YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT? If you ask me - absolutely none!! So stop this condescending and patronising attitude and get real on what BJP's real reasons for opposing the deal are.

Who gave you this notion that deal is against India, no patriotic person can say that its against India. America wants to see the deal done as Lots of Global warming is resulting due to fossil and coal power plants. Remember 2012 is the deadline as its going to be intolerably hot after that year. Its predicted that most of the Amazon forests and Polar Ice cap will finish by 2012. But you selfish people will never understand, cos your thinking is very narrow.

Mr. bharat Nesan, do you know anything about Mr. Advani beyond what is written in media ?? Do you have anybody about his personal integrity ?? He till date never recommended even his closest relatives or friends nor misused it till in all his decades of political existence ?? and has been consistence in his thoughts, unlike our current PM or FM. So do not blame for blaming sake, you have NO idea of these real people. Remember, I am NO BJP or Congress or Left supporter, but a true Indian. Do you have any idea of what this N-Deal is about?? Seems you are ardent congress supporter, can you explain the few clauses that even scientific community finds it hard to digest ??

Same Advani, advised his security advisor to release terrorists in exchange of IA highjack plane and he personally went with the terrorists to release them in kandhar.
