What a shame!. Sam, the Bahadur, died a hero, the hero that it he was, the hero that he will always be. He was the savior of East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), he was a great military leader and above all he was a great human being. Our leaders, did not have the time for paying him the last respect. These same scoundrels, will however plan in advance for their funeral pyres and place for their memorials, but could not plan to pay their last respect to a true hero. o Pratibha Patil , the commander-in-chief of the armed forces with all the time in the world: Absent o Hamid Ansari: Vice-president releasing books and writing reviews of books by fellow-travellers: Absent o Manmohan Singh , the prime minister who could do with a bit of the field marshal's charisma and heroism: Absent o Sonia Gandhi : daughter-in-law of the woman the field marshal called 'sweetie': Absent o L K Advani: prime minister in waiting of the party which would like to do to Pakistan what Manekshaw did: Absent o M Karunanidhi and Surjit Singh Barnala: chief minister and governor of the state which Manekshaw had made his home for 35 years: Absent
Shame on them. This shameful deed of our leaders must be condemned by all Indians.
Please pass this message to one & all in the Country and the World to highlight the cheapness of our leaders in India.

It is sad and sickening that the thick skinned class of politicians care only for themselves and their siblings. WE the commonman salute all those who die in service of the nationand convey our heartfelt condolences to the berieved families.
How easy it is to raise te number of hits to your website!!! Rediff Head - Whoever you are, please stop using sentimental topics like this to increase your visibilty. Instead, try bringing something concrete and constructive. At Rediff The movie reviews your reviewers write are bullshit.. Many of the topics are irrelevant...Many are even outdated... many of your journalist understands the sensitivity of the "Power of Pen' and many a times they take liberty and publish things which are very insensitive and moreovers the Editors approve it...

Politicians treat or martyrs like dogs killed on road for them they are fools who came on the road and got themselves killed, because politicians are the first one to escape any such situation.
People should raise their voice for all Martyrs and their families. We should never forgrt their sacrifice and should do something for the families so that they dont go through hell after the demise of their Man.
History has proved that it is nothing unusual for Congress Ministers to treat such matters as of little consequence unlike politicians from other Govts when in power.

Even BJP did nothing for those who got killed in attack on Parliament. I support BJP and votes for them being a hindu, but feel sad as even they never did anything for them
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
Our Government treat the martyrs shabbily and terrorists are VIP treatment like Afzal Guru. And our country is made very softest state by this idiocratic government
Politicians dont care about martyrs, they dont even have crocodile tears for them. They dont even know what it is when a member of family sacrifices his life for nation because they believe in selling the nation and not the one who would sacrifice their life for nation.
FOREIGN MINISTER SHOULD RESIGN TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL THAT HAPPENED IN KABUL.

WHO CARE ATTITUDE IS THE RULE OF THE DAY........ SOMEONE NEEDS TO SHAKE THIS STUPID SYSTEM, WE HAVE GO ENTANGLED WITH.. ITS A SHAME TO READ THAT THE INTELLIGENCE HAD WARNED THE BLAST ISSUE TWO WEEKS AGO... ITS PATHETIC, THAT NO ONE OWNS ANY RESPONSIBILITY, SHAME ON US!!!
its really sad, really hurting, heart pinching that the soldiers who are working sooooooooo hard ( local civilians really cant imagine), are not being treated as they actually deserve. I as an individual cant do much, but let every soldier who reads my message feel that there will always be support and greatest sorrow coming for unsung heros, from deep within from unknown entities like me who exist in the same rude society.... Is a shame that money has become the only medium to calculate ones identity!!!! But Heros will always be Heros!!!! Their sacrifice will never go unnoticed by civilians like me !!!! My heart felt salutes to you all, JAI HIND
Friends its no hidden secret the way our politicians treat our martyrs.Right from freedom fighting days people like bhagat singh and his team was treated shabbily as they did not agreed with policies of rest. For name sake politicians make statues at road ends which do not serve any purpose. These statues are demolished or painted by anti social elements for spreading communal hatred. The birds use this statues for their pooing satisfaction. Its high time that we take our responsibilities seriously and just not care for our rights only.Military edcuation should be made compulsory for everyone so we understand the importance of nation and love for it.lawyers doctors and intellicutuals shd join politicians rather then criminal charge sheeters.Cheers.
