It just shows the apathy of our politicians towards the martyrs. It is rightly said that a county can not win a war if does not respect its martyrs. Only money can not attract the youths to join the army it is the respect and izzat that make difference. As for as india is concerned only nehru family,karunathi family,lalu family are going to be matyrs....the soldiers who protect these useless fellows are treated as fools....
we have to have the habit of respecting our soldiers like western countries....these jawans risk their life for us.....but many say that,they are working for salary...may be when they join money is the motive...but after that they are serving for us .they are the one,because of whom we are surviving here....
what salute we are offering to martyars during parliament attack? Their families are in position to give the medals back. If Indian army is lacking for officers then what is wrong?
Rediff some times brings some interesting topics on discussion boards. Which and what Martyrs are we discussing about? The Real Martyrs are Nehru,Indira,Rajiv,Sanjay etc will be added to the new list in future are Sonia,Rahul and Priyanka !!! who else can be the Martyrs the Jawans,IFC,BSF,Bapuji,Vallabh bhai,Subhash Chandra,Tilak,Bhagat Singh,NO,NO,NO They didnt do any thing for this country Only because of Nehru parivar and Jinnah India got azadi and both the guys together created pakistan,isnt it ??? Tragedy, the true Martyrs are being treated like stray animals.

things will definitely improve when people get quality education and have access to internet where everything is out in the open and you can search and find out who is what and what is fed to you and what is the real picture...but it will take time..

I would be glad if Rediff could give us the contact details of atleast the ITBP jawans. Rather than restricting ourselves to these messages, we need to do something for their families.
I strongly oppose the martyrs who sacrificed their lives while protecting stupid politicians in parliament attack. They should learn to play politics with politicians.
Martyrs right... What is that? We do not know, we are followers of corrupt politicians who see to it that they make enough for their ten generations to come. We do not worry for the dead or their family, What for... they are of no use to us any more. We make it sure that we pay our respects to the dead politicians who looted the country and fooled us in their life time, we always try to steel a march over others in showering praises on these dead parasites. Martyrs! There are only a couple of martyrs in the whole history of India, we cry on their smadhis as and we get an opportunity to show our loyalty to them. Our politicians in government are our leaders in this also, they have all the time in the world licking the feet of any good for nothing person to keep their positions in tact, but do not bother for those who lay their lives for keeping country in tact.
