Is this a new story . this indifference has been since time imemorial . how many kargil heroes we know about ? how about bangladesh war 1971 ? forget that how about bhagat singh , azad , rajguru etc etc the list is endless ... most recent field marshal manekshaw .... .this nation will only come to a standstill only when a nehru , gandhi or a big industrialist dies .....
where do we have any respect 4 our martyrs....just remembering all those who laid their lives n sacrificed everything 4 the sake ok nation on 15th aug n 26th jan is not mere enuf.. wat happens behind them is a major tragedy.. the families r 4gotten.wat trauma and emotional disturbance they go thro we hardly bother..v 4get the fact tat bcoz of these people who r on border n stopping the enemies from destroying our motherland we actually survive..people often dismiss off saying so wat they get paid 4 it...well the salary isnt so gr8 in comparison 4 the entire life u give 2 ur country's defence...if it's so easy then y dun people go n take up tat job.. u need real guts 2 even go thro the training..often the bodies r mutilated n in such horrible conditions tat 4get abt having bad nite mares they have 2 live wid it in conscious state of mind. i dunno how they do it but it's something known as passion wich drives them 2 continue wid this job..sad part is very few even bother 2 know wat's happening wid the martyrs..leave aside attending their funeral, we dun even have time 2 know wat it feels 4 their families 2 lose some1 so special.. all 4 the sake of nation..here our politicians r waiting 2 even sell off our nation 4 money. it's time our generation woke up n did something..it's not he work of 1 person..wud require a team 2 do something abt it..

Dear Dipti, I respect your views and we should remember the martyrs. And I suggest you to write in the proper way and I hope you are using some short terms which is not appealing at all. It is only my suggesstion and it is upto you to decide...Thanks Jakk. V

Then what about Rajiv Gandhi and Indira Gandhi. Was it a true sacrifice basing upon which their family is ruling the country?
martyrs are treated as an obligation and their families are treated as a source for the loot by brokers and nothing reaches to them in time which may expand to 17 years in present era of liberalization when age of dealers hardly care for them rather focus on development issues which means progress for the nation and the dealers who make hay while the sun shine and martyrs are not even recognized but labeled as mental cases who have higher level of sentiments for the nations and world community as a whole
