CANT SEE ANY GOOD POINTS WITH CONGRESS BECAUSE THEY ARE GETTING FROM BAD TO WORSE....
It is absolutely true that India is 100 percent Hindu. India is home to all its indigenuous cultures to religions from Sikhism to buddhism to jainism. I is also at home foreign beliefs like Parsees who love the country.
What India or Indian culture is not is semitic cultures which see to expand and trample others.

Culture seems to be joke by non-hindus when europeans very washing their backs with leafs and searching definition of religions our every children was chanting ramayana-bhagwad geeta. Islam is a joke of world so doesnt deserve to write anything about it. Every Indian is Hindu because Hindu is a sanathan dharma. As far as all religious philosophy is concerned -- this all is present since centuries in our culture in form of "Dwaitwaad" and "Adwaitwaad". No religion talks anything other or newer than this.
I understand from some of my friends working in the West Asian countries that the Arabs call the Indians (irrespective of religion) as "hindi maskeen" which roughly translates to "wretched Indians" !!!!!!

Muslims from the sub-continent are keeping very quiet about this Arab-racism. It is true that some handful of "Hindi" muslims have done well in the middle-east because they are muslims. But in the majority of cases, being muslim is not such a great advantage for them.
Arabs can be very rude, very exclusive and temperamental towards Indians. Their sexual and other abuse of maids from India, Sri Lanka and Philippines is now very widely known. In Saudi Arabia such sexual abuse is especially shocking because this country claims to be a "pure" Islamic state. In many parts of Europe rich Arabs are known for their sexual exploits. Makes you wonder why they have such double standars, one in their country, with their own women, and the opposite standard in other countries with other women. Last week, a Saudi Arab, with severe kidney-stone pain, told the Kolkotta hospital staff that "I do not want treatment from Indians" ! You could not be more blunt than that.
Well, this was the reason why Pakistan and Bangladesh were formed to begin with. India is equated with Hindus and the Muslim and Christian minorities are considered outsiders. What I find strange is when Muslims hate India that Hindus start chanting you should call yourself Indian first and Muslims second. Why the change of heart at that stage. If Muslims are not Indian and Indians hate Muslims then Muslims react by hating Hindus and Hindusim. It is really a psychological reaction. I think Hindus read too much into it. Maybe it is for this reason that many policy analysts are saying that in the coming years India will position itself as the new arch enemy of the entire mideast while the West would have come full circle and become trade and strategic partners with that region. So the focus of the militancy would shift from US and Israel to India. There are predictions that the West will soon be at relative peace with Muslims while India will emerge as the new enemy attracting the militants to foment terror and war against it like never before.

Neither the muslims came from West Asia nor the Christians came from Europe. The Muslims and Christians in India are the decendants of those who converted at various points in history for various reasons (let us not go into the reasons).
It is the Muslims and Christians who consider themselves as outsiders. Some of them even think that there was no place called Indian sub-continent before the arrival of Islamic invaders and European colonizers!!!!!
The Muslims and Christians should first understand that they also have equal rights (nothing more, nothing less) as Citizens of a Secular democratic republic called India. They should not try to blackmail the majority community in the name of Religion.

Ahmad Nawaz, Hindus, Muslims and Christians in India - We all have common ancestors. People of all religions in India are local. Only a handful of muslim familities trace their ancestry to Persia or Afghanistan. But after 600 years of muslim dynasties in different part of undivided India, unfortunately, an "imperial" attitude did come about amongst muslims. Hindus feel muslims "looked down" upon them. Do not confuse some strong words used by some people with the reality in India. Muslims and Christians live better lives than even in Pakistan and B'desh. For instance, if you are a Shiah,Ahmadiya or Ismaili in Pakistan, life is not as free for you as in India. Muslims are very much part of India. It won't change. It is a guarantee. But as JGN has said, too much muslim "exclusiveness" and looking to the "Ummah" all the time, at the expense of the welfare of India, then some criticisms will follow, I am afraid.

Rediff gives space to every view point. And I appreciate Ahmad Nawaz candid analyses of muslim mindset. India, i.e., Bharat has always been target of invaders, including islamic invaders. There is nothing revealing in this analysis. What is important that this time response to such agression will be differnt from the well informed 'earstwhile victims' of such invasion. The Rediff type discussion is a process, through which Hindus started knowing and telling their tormentors that they know them.

Pakistan was formed as a vast section of muslims thought they can't work under inferior hindus so opted for Pakistan. Pakistan demand was heralded by pork-eater Jinnah. You all followed a pork-eater and created pakistan. Today, pakistan is more dense kilometerwise. Bangladesh was created forcibly in 1971 when EAst bengal was chalked separately from Pakistan post which Pakistan followed its Kashmir agenda vigourously.
Actually, problem with Islam. Islam do not give equal rights to women i.e. half of population. Women are kept intentionally away from mosques because your worship place is also used for warship place. The house of god isused for political purposes. Muslims are more sincere to their clergies than their women folk.
