amar singh plz. remove singh from ur name it ashamed me of myself u must put ur name amar besharam ambika soni rightly quoted abt u u r dog and begger will come back when ever we need u. shame on u and ur party u r biggest example of opportuniesm and selfness of indian politics. continue with this one day u will become india's minister unfortunate abt india.
On one side Amar Singh is asking more protection to his life, on the other he has been projecting himself to the kingmaker of the country. It seems that having sensed a threat to his life he has vowed to amass as much fortune for himself as is more than sufficient to spend a luxurious life in any part of the world should he be made to run from the country. See how he is making mullah : All the terms he has put before congress in return for his party's support are on the behest of Anil Ambani, so much so that the business interest of the later's brother would be at stake. Such terms include more taxes on refiners(of which Mukesh is the biggest private player and quite certinly playing a very important role in the energy segment of the contry's all round self dependance)selling of telcom spectrum (yet another demand of Anil Ambani for quite some time now)in the cost of the established players. For this Amar Singh must be promised a jet aircraft by Anit Ambani(money is too miniscule a term to mention here I hope) Horse tarding is already very rampant in the Indian polity. Each and every MP from SP will be demanding the fortunes for his/ her loyality to the SP which will have to be catered to by the Govt. indirectly. The gist of the matter is that the Indian Politics is now being run for and by the big corporates and their stooges. With this state of affairs, where this country is heading to is anybody's guess.
India's politics is a web carved by thieves, its just a question of who is worse! In the present scenario, one should be pardoned for considering the Samajwadi Party as the lesser of the two biggest thieves in the Indian polity - the Communists and Samajwadi! And what is more, the two were really thick as, you said it, thieves, till yesterday! Ha! But dont let their estrangement fool you, because it is temporary, like a lovers' tiff, they'll be back together if they find the BJP in with a chance to form the next Government. Till then, they will be at each other's throats and will sing paens to their own commitment to 'national' interest. And of course, since in their eyes, they are the nation, why should anyone worry if their interest coincides with China's, resulting in sale of India's Northeast to the Chinks, or in reframing the spectrum imbroglio to benefit you know who - ADAG, of course, or impose "windfall" taxes on oil companies, read, Mukesh Ambani's RIL, all this will be in "national" interest, wont it? Do you get me, Steve??
president shud not take the list gvn by amar as official as it may hv all those mps who hv already switched to bsp. shud wait for it on the floor of the house . this is coz sp is not trustworthy at all.
Fractured mandate, split verdict, hung parliament, post poll alliance among the parties with different ideologies, horse trading, corruption, strong bargaining, appeasement policy, threatening to withdraw support, another poll before expire of full term, etc. are not in the true spirit of democracy.
Urgently we require the following to lead the nation in the path of progress and prosperity:
1. Implement Two party system, both in Centre and State.
2. Stop the defeated Lok Sabha MPs from electing as Rajya Sabha MPs for five years.
3. Reject the court convicted criminals from contesting in elections.
4. Defection from parties means loosing MP/MLA status for five years.
5. Country's two top posts- Prime Minister and President be elected by the people instead of a leader of any political party like Sonia Gandhi.
6. Make it mandatory for every voters to cast vote (Voter I Card is not only meant for address proof but also offers a right to elect our best representative to govern the State or Centre).

We Should have a system where we can cast either a negative vote or a positive vote. Suppose out of 5 candidates contesting election if we dont like any of them then instead of casting vote in favour or not voting, we can cast a negative vote. Thereby we can increase the % of ppl coming out to vote

Hi Pradeep, I agree with you on all points but disagree on casting vote should me made mandatory.
In a democratic country , Every citizen has right to accept or reject candidates. So voting cannot be made compulsary

Agreed ,Truely said. But remember , In India 1eaders are not e1ected by voters , they are elected by booth capturing and false voting so here Voter IDs are going to be proved futile only
