It is time for celebration
by sameer surve on Jul 09, 2008 02:22 PM  Permalink

It is a very good riddance. Even the markets are celebrating the exclusion of Left from the govt. Ideally they should withdraw from the country politics. They have held the country for ransom for the last 4 years and have not done anything worthwhile for the people. Their only job is to oppose the development of India and be in the news because of that.

Left meets President, withdraws support to UPA government
by James Bond on Jul 09, 2008 02:21 PM  Permalink

UPA talk of extra-ordinary growth in their tenure. The country is still standing on the cross-road where it was ten years ago. Next election are in May 2009. Post election these pseudo-secular will unite again.

hi left, what left for you other than this ? You are cornered!!
by gopala panikkar pazhoor on Jul 09, 2008 02:21 PM  Permalink

The left parties are well cornered by the congress. They too have seen that the support is withdrawn only when congress is assured of a majority in the parliament. What a game plan!! a win win situation is created meticulously well designed by congress and the left.

But this honey moon of congress is not going to last. The congress will have to pay the price for the Support of Samjwadis ,Ajit singh and TRS .Ultimately congress shall be definitely going to loose in Loksabha elections when ever it comes.People of India are not fools. The rising prices of essential commodities, shortage of food grains, poor infrastructural developments ,lack of policy on education etc will be remembered by the voter.

LETS DECLARE A WAR ON THE MOST WICKED IDEOLOGY EVER PROPOSED ON EARTH- COMMUNISM.
COMMUNISM HAS NO PLACE IN INDIAN DEMOCRACY..THE COMMIES HAVE NEVER OPENED THEIR UGLY MOUTH AGAINST CHINA NOR AGAINST THEIR TERRORIST COMRADES IN THE DECCAN PLATEAU.THEY ARE ANTI-NATIONALS AND DESERVE TO BE TERMINATED OF THEIR CITIZENSHIP.LET THEM GO TO NORTH KOREA OR CHINA.

Where is India Going
by Ajmal basha on Jul 09, 2008 02:17 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This all bulllllllllllllshitttt, we are going in dark, come on india come on....... save our nation before it is too late.... let all of us educated young individuals stand up and ask, why the nuclear deal is good or bad...... we cannot have election again and burden the country with unwanted wastage of money which will inturn go from our pocket in terms of taxes. duties etc,.... and make our country with lack of infrastructure........ Are we in democracy..?? the deal which is going to affect every individual of the country either good or bad is not shared to the parliment, this is rediculous/........The government should take a group comprissing of 30% of Scientist prefereable Nuclear/Automic, 20% of Industrialist, 20% Professionals (Engg,Doctors,Lawyers,economist,....)20% of Politicians, 10% common educated citizens and have debate and voting and if atleast 60% are in favour we should sign the deal if less than 60% we should reject the deal thats it..... we dont want uneducated and criminal politicians to ruin our country.. though they are representing common people but this issue requires lot of strategic thinking and proper vision.. this requires the cream of india to decide.... please agree or disagree or modify the suggestion but we need to suggest the President & the PM to do this way. There is no sense in de-stabalizing the government and making our democracy as our neighbour. Please get up.

Forget aboutme n you Ajmal,I am sure 99.5% 0f the Indians arent aware of 123 deal.Out of 543 MPs in Loksabha I am sure 500 of them arent aware of this deal.We the VOTERS are idiots who go and vote for the 99% useless and good for nothing rascals who sent these guys to Delhi. Take for example the Bengalies and the Keralaites both have good literacy, they are intelligent yet they vote for the rascals and later on suffer. The 80% of educated and middle class does not vote.Had this community voted do you think the chors, murderes, rapists, guys like Laloo,Mulayam,Mayawati,Devegowda,Amarsingh,Rahul Gandhi,Sonia Gandhi would ever make it to the parliament ??? tragedy. The Holy Place like Parliament house of this great country is being ruined.

LEFT WITHDRAWS SUPPORT.
by vilas hegde on Jul 09, 2008 02:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Good riddance! All these years of the UPA rule, they were only wielding power without accountability. If Trade Unions which were lying low during the NDA regime are roaring today, it is thanks to UPA's dependance on them. Industrial climate is consequently vitiated. Agitations were conducted at the drop of hat. They could get whatever they wanted and made the Congress dance to their tune till Dr. Singh called their bluff unable to tolerae their strident and stupid opposition the nuclear deal. Their recent land deal ostensibly for their paty activities at Delhi is a classic example of the clout had.

What stopped Manmohan Singh fro getting rid of the left in 2005 or 2006 if not in 2004.
Manmohan Singh enjoyed power for 4 1/2 years and has done nothing concrete.
Eg. Rising prices, Weak decision making and the most Important of all Growing Terrorist activities for the past 4 1/2 years.
In order to hide all these, he is masking in the name of nuclear deal.
