nuclear deal
by Ronald Dsouza on Jul 09, 2008 03:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

what i feel that nuclear deal is important if it serves india it is better to have USA as a friend rather than having third world countries. The Muslim countries pass resolution supporting Pakistan then why we should care for their friendship.Look at Japan it was put numerous sanctiions yet it became a economic power.

Congress recd a big slap on its 'dash' point. A little but time will take to stand aright. It is an outcome of 60 years' anti-people policy. Congress has broken its own leg. It ordered for artificial leg.

even with the so called pro people policies and all, why left cannot spread out of the two states?! if they were so concerned with the people of india, they wouldnt have been called traitors or chinese supporters, instead they would be in power by this time!

Japan becomes economic power not woth the help of USA.
It is the result of hard work of Japanese people.

They didnot spoil their energy for matters like religion or politics.
(In India people spent all their energy for Religion, caste & politics)

i am not supporting states. but if look at even Ramayana where Lord Ram made friendhsip with the powerful vanaars to defeat Ravana like Hanuman so we need to have friends which can provide us support when needed rather than having a group of friends who do not support india when needed

Actions of terrorist can not be generalised to all Muslims. There are muslims even in US army countering terrorist. Islam never approved terrorist act. It was borrowed and incorporated for political purpose. Voice of terrorist should be silenced by muslims themselved. India will be non aligned by doing a deal with US and following it up with Russia and China.

The fate was decided in June 2005 when MMS fixed the deal with Bush. They lingered it to enjoy the ruling seat for last 3 years. Congress is successful to kick Left out of Political interest of citizen of India through the deal. Next is Amar Singn Ji who will bite his nails after the results of 2009 General election as congress is going to make him another scapegoat. Its congress practice, lure and crush.

Nuclear Deal
by lukose vj on Jul 09, 2008 02:55 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

On this occassion the left is right. Two or more reasons:

Once the document becomes operational it is not the Supreme Court of India that will interpret its provisions; rather, it will be a foreign agency dominated by USA or China or whoever else that will have the dominant role in interpreting the provisions. Mind you, it is the interpretation and not the print that counts. And our government will be pressurised unnecessarily to the detriment of the country.
We ought not let anyone set foot on Indian soil in the garb of inernational nuclear inspectors or similar because the places and the things they will intrude into will be decided by outside powers and the country will not be able to do anything to stop them. We should learn from the experience of other countries.

Secondly, India will be obliged to keep and open its nuclear accounts for inspection by the outside inspectors or powers. It will unnecessarily limit the deterance value of its nuclear posture.

Instead of entering into this arrangement what India should do is to develop its own reservoir of nuclear material on a slow but steady pace without outside interferance.

Its very easy to post stupid things about stuff that you don't know.

India doesn't have any sufficient quantity of uranium in its soil, so the only way is to buy it from outside. We already have a huge shortage of power and our existing atomic reactors are running at 50% capacity because we don't have fuel. We badly need lots more power for the growing economy.

Second, as per the agreement we have to divide our atomic installations to civilian and military. Civilian ones will receive fuel from USA and will be under supervision by IAEA. Military ones will not be under any other countries watch.

Let us wait and see. We all can be happy if the written words of the treaty would mean to outsiders the same thing as they mean to you while the treaty is being implemented.

From Prof.Paul Coimbatore Marine College
The UPA Government has lasted long enough.IT
was an emergency measure to take support.I
suggest that the Women's Reservation Bill be passed ane fresh elections be held as the
National Congress Party should never ever take
support from parties which are against the
basic principles of Democracy.
