Congress ruled India for more than 50 years, BJP & Muslim league managed to divide and rule. SP, RJD, JD… should anyone say how they did? China Supported India's Nuclear deal with US, now can any one say this is Chineese propaganda? Left parties in India have always stood up for the right causes/ non-corrupt leaders/ secularism/common people/ Against US propaganda. Life and living standards in Kerala & Bengal is of "high class", stop matching with high buildings. Left got class!

Kerala and Bangal are least divided by caste and religion. Nuclear deal, women reservation bill, economy etc will be discudded very well in Kerala and Bangal. But it is less discussed in other states and people vote based on caste and religion. Stop bashing left. They are much secular than any other parties.

WHY BLAME THE BENGALI OR MALIYALI.
by kedem kemorah on Jul 09, 2008 03:42 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Apart from your antipathy towards the Maliyali (Keralite) and the Bengali, you don't seem to have any idea about them.In both the States of West Bengal and Kerala, the majority of votes are cast against the Commies. In Kerala the same voters alternatively vote for the LDF & the UDF-the Commies & the Congress in alternative elections. In other words in Kerala the voters show some brains every alternative 5 years whenever they vote out the Commies. But due to the opposition votes being divided amongst several Parties, the Commies along with their rigging machinery manage to stay in power in West Bengal. Why blame the Bengali or the Maliyali for the follies of the political parties?Look at the other states where the voters do not cast their votes but vote their castes!Such backwardness is missing from West Bengal fully and to a large extent in Kerala. The problem is therefore created because God has given too much brains to the Bengali & Maliyali that makes them think and vote differently as compared to those States where the voter votes without thinking of the consequences in a display of Herd Instinct where each species votes for its own species(caste). Now with the two main opposition parties in Bengal and Kerala, the Congress and the Marxists having cohabited for 4 years as natural allies with the false excuse of "preventing the Communal forces(BJP)from coming to power" what choice does the voter have but to vote for one them.In Bihar they voted for Lalu the thug for 15 years

it is very very abusurd to cast vote one or other in alternate election.it means the incumbent party everytime is worthless in next election.that is they voted for nut in the past election.hey keralites improve ur decision making.first u produce good leader and support him.

why is the govt shying away from making the deal public??
by philip mathew on Jul 09, 2008 03:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Why is the govt keeping the general public in dark about the nuclear deal... Only the elite few in defence and foriegn ministries along with the honchos in the Prime ministers office know everything about the deal..

And when the government ifself is saying that electricity from nuclear powered plants will contribute 5 p.c. of the total grid supply by 2015 if the deal works out (Now it is 1 p.c.), why make so much noise and surrender ourselves to the No-Test treaty.

What indian governemnt should do:
1) Make the 17 page deal document public
2) Revert back to the non-aligned stand of nehruvian era
3) Take steps to operationalize the Iran pipeline plan

You dont seem to understand the basics of international treaties. Documents such as these are sensitive and not to be made public....they are not love stories but serious business.... What information to share, how much, and by what process is also clearly defined.....

RE:Congress recd a big slap on its 'dash' point. A little bit time will take to stand aright. It is an outcome of 60 years' anti-people policy. Congress has broken its own leg. It ordered for artificial leg.
by PKN on Jul 09, 2008 03:44 PM  Permalink
Even a moron should realize that if you get a big slap on your "dash" point you dont break your leg.
I have heard about "Jaipur Leg" but never heard about a "Kannur Dash point"
We suspect that you dont know differnce between the N-Deal and the Rear end of an Mule . Do

philip mathew ,
I beleived that the Iran-Pakistan-India pipeline was always important ! What has changed to make it either more or less important.
Or are you suggesting it as balancing act ?
The only thing that India must reaffirn is that we will buy it only at the point it enters in to this country . Otherwise we may end up paying for gas that never reaches this country .
