Good Game! Lesson for BJP to learn
by M S on Jul 09, 2008 02:05 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is a good game by congress and left. A master stroke!! Congress is excellent at politics and BJP should learn from them.

Congress and Left were waiting for a year to seek someone else for support. Finally when SP agreed, left withdrew support. But to the dumb media it was declared the other way round, that left is withdrawing support and hence SP is supporting.

So now Congress is free to say we risked power for national benefit, Left can say we stuck to our stand. And in the mean time SP can enjoy some ministerial berths at the centre.

As for "aam aadmi" and BJP, they are left where they are.... fighting inflation and opposition respectively.

It is an insult for the 'Aam Aadmi' to be clubed with BJP. By the way, How come the great Modi is conpicously silent on the N-deal. Is it only because his US visa application is pending. Now you all can judge his nationalism, it even come far below than a stupid US visa which he hypocritically says that he doesn't want it. wah wah ... do people really understand his selfish opportunism.

Left is consistent
by PKN on Jul 09, 2008 02:03 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

There are many on this board that attacks the left for their action of withdrawing the support. But they must also appreciate that the left has to be praised for their consistency.
- The Left has over the last 60 years been very consistent in being the biggest opponent of anything that may be have a chance of helping this country progress .
- The Left has been consistent in being stupid - was against Computers, was against SEZs, against sale of non profit making PSUs etc.
- In the nuclear deal they made it clear that they will not accept it not because of non-testing clause or 123 or Hyde act but because they don’t like USA. If the N-Deal could be signed with China, North Korea, Cuba, they have no objection.
So why are we screaming our heart out when we are aware that the Consistent Left would never ever do anything good for this country .
Why Karat and Yechury will ask do we need energy-security when we can have easy solution as in WB and Kerala by using very advanced method of power-cuts?
The question that one must ask is why the Congress went on dreaming that such a consistent spoiler like the Left will come around? Why did they not dump them and get SP in earlier?
Trusting the Left is an anti-national activity

Samajwadi Party used the excuse of Abdul Kalaam to join the congress because they are out of power in UP and are being kicked every day by Mayawathi.

In order to save their skin(Cases against Mulayamjjii, Amarjiii, Amitapji, jayajji, Jayapradhajjii), now they have become nationalistic and are supporting the government the same way Lalloo is supporting the government.(He was also been kicked out from Bihar and has no way to go).

-As you have mentioned, the left is less consistent when compared to Manmohan singh and company.

One major point left - LEFT enjoy the power without taking any responsibility. They were part of govt many times and this time too..but when they go to election they will say they are opposing the present govt on everything ...inflation, Nuke DEal, and so on...

What does this behavior called?

Instability In the Air-hope UPA survives the Trust Challenge....
by D goel on Jul 09, 2008 02:03 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Pkl. afternoon, 2pm 9th July 2008Wednesday
the fat is in the fire this morning. the Left Mp
PS have met the president and asked forthe rust Vote in the run of current UPA Government.
While S. ManmohanSingh is quite confident of his support amonst Socialist and other grroups including
sundry MPs like Akalis , one does not be too sure. Some Muslim sentiments of Socialists may be turned against American Deal, as Smt Mayawati
is keen in embarrassing present government for her own reasons..
RajnathSingh and NDA shall try to press hard for UPA ouster...whether AmnnaDMK &Trinamool shall join this effort , one cannot be too sure. Instability is there ,D. Goel
