by ks prakaash on Jul 09, 2008 09:19 PM  Permalink

Dear Astrologers
Where are you? No predictions coming from anyone of late. Are you also confused like the political parties? Bombarding us with Shani, mangal....etc etc on almost every channel, day in and day out. Any takers?

Advani is desperate
by RK on Jul 09, 2008 09:17 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mr. Advani is becoming desperate to become PM. The need of hour is a stable govt. and not another election wherein taxpayer's money is wasted.

Nuclear Pact
by Bonaventure on Jul 09, 2008 09:15 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Non-congress supporters and apolitical novices of the deal respected Mr AJ Abdul Kalam, Shree Brijesh Mishra, Anil Kakodkar have backed the deal to the hilt.

I can see the opposition to this deal a political gimmick.

You should look into Mr Manmohan Singh's eyes and you will find a well educated, erudite, and a very honest Prime Minister who is acting in good of the country. Everyone knows he ain't a politician but a reformist and a good man.

I can say this much .. MMS is the right prime minister, having all the qualifications to run a prosperous country, save of a politician, but managing a wrong country.

He is a sheep in sheep's clothing.
A puppet.

its either a wolf in sheep's clother or vice versa e.g. LK Advani .. and not what U say.

Wasn't Vajpayee a shadow PM while Advani was at the helm of affairs.

nuclear deal against India
by Arya on Jul 09, 2008 09:09 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

present form of nuclear deal is against India's interest & is heavily favored for US.

signing in present form means it will pave way for the old & outdated reactors of USA to be dumped in our country at very high costs.

vote of confidence
by sutanu on Jul 09, 2008 09:06 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Respected Mr Advani
Pl donot be a tool in bringing down this government. You may oppose the bill, but abstain from confidence vote. let Mr Manmohan Singh run the full term. If you bring down the Govt BJP & YOU will be figured out as villian in the eyes of the masses. We know very well that if election is conducted as schedule nobody can prevent BJP of getting absolute majority.Inspite of getting absolute majority on HIS own BJP still will head a coalition ministry of NDA. At this moment Manmohan is very popular as at last he has shown the LEFT the door which HE should have done much earlier. Pl don't bringdown the GOVT let them last for full term & collapse on their own

The Left Parties have withdrawn support to the UPA Government. The UPA Government came into existence in 2004 with the support of the Left parties on the basis of its Common Minimum Programme. The aim was to fight the communal forces and undo the damage they had done to the secular polity of India in their years in office. This required a set of interlinked policies to bring relief to the people, to protect India’s integrity and to pursue an independent foreign policy. By going ahead with the deal at a time when there is the crushing burden of price-rise and galloping inflation, the Manmohan Singh Government has clearly shown that it is more concerned about fulfilling its commitment to the Bush administration rather than meeting its commitment to the people of India.

The Indo-US Nuclear Deal is against India’s vital interests. The Congress-led government has embraced a strategic alliance with the United States. This dubious deal with President Bush is the centerpiece of a number of agreements like military collaboration and concessions to US capital in the retail sector, education etc.

The nuclear deal will not provide India energy security. Since it is anchored in a US law, the Hyde Act, it will hamper an independent foreign policy and restrict our strategic autonomy.

The Manmohan Singh government is guilty of gross violation of the Common Minimum Programme, which does not provide for a strategic alliance with the USA.

Intelligence of Us Indians
by Indian Indian on Jul 09, 2008 09:03 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Intelligence of Indians can be calculated by the leaders they choose, the newest congress friends , the king Pim.p said this in an interview. I feel sardaar MMS and Maino Antonia ko Chullu bhar paanee main doob marnaa chahiye...for this shameless alliance..

Justifying his party's decision to join hands with the Congress after years-long bitter rivalry, Amar Singh said in the interview: "When Prakash Karat goes to meet Sonia Gandhi, it’s called ’suhaag raat’, but when we go to meet Sonia Gandhi, it’s called ‘balaatkaar’."
