Nuclear Deal
by R.Chitharanjan on Jul 09, 2008 06:51 PM  Permalink

Our PM as well as Congress party taken the decision to go alongwith the deal even by loosing 4 years friendship with communist party, then there should not be any hesitation to do the advantage for the nation by signing & proceeding to get approval in the parliament - and the ball to be passed to U.S. if they have time or not - it is their interest to finish off benefitting INDIA.

Its human nature..nothing wrong with it.. Mahatmas Ghadhi also wanted his gain when he fought for India... every move in life is Selffish...there is no Selfless act... The Selfless people ended up gaining nothing in Life.... Subash Chandra Bose a selfless fighter who ended up dead at a very young age... Bagat Singh... What did these people gain... Nehru Selfish gained the Prime Minster pos of India...So dont Blame US for being selffish

You mean to convey that selfless acts should end in death, arent you? You are enjoying the fruit of all those who fought even if some died and others lived to gain something later. Imagine what would have happened if they too sat like us in front of rediff and just write comments. Learn the art of appreciation.

Yes there is no free lunches and sure the US will have their own motives. But this does not mean that their intention is to fleece us.

The US now intends to build up India as a counterweight to China and keep in check Pakistan and Iran. This is the reason why the Left prefer to look idiotic and even get worsted in the next elections. They say that its Indian's strategic militrary relationship with the US that they really object to - an eumphesim
that the deal is against Chinese interests

this article is a C R A P. what about the technology transfer from US. The deal is not only about supplynig nuclear fuel but also the technology fo it and that will not be possiblr without US. India will lose if they have the fuel only and not the technology

After NSG approval India can start nuclear trade with other countires. So deal is on for India whether US congress passes it or not before the deadline.
In that situation that should please our comrades who are opposed to do any agreemnt with US.

Gr8 deal. Every one knows that we are starving for power & energy. Nuclear bombs can only be used as deterrent and the best way to man this white elephant is to extract energy for our people. As everyone knows India is power situation is sinking day by day, this deal is the only hope for frequent power cuts. Good Job MMS.

Congress should stop fooling people on N-deal. They just want to gain political mileage from this. They are not going to come in next election. Mr.Advani is the ONLY 'future' of india.

"Mr.Advani is the ONLY 'future' of India" AGREED. But my friend with this deal Congress might loose power also which is negative for them. I appreciate that MMS had gone ahead with this deal without bothering for the loss of power.

All the players are trying to out smart others. These people consider the people to be their novice.Akali Dal says they are not against Nuclear Deal.Mr Advani says, for him the Country comes ahead of politics. But he opposes the Nuclear Deal. What these people are trying to convince the poor public is beyond imagination.

Indo- US nuclear deal
by prabir DasGupta on Jul 09, 2008 06:44 PM  Permalink

So the moral of the story is -
1. Never dilly dally in your actions if you are sure about it, come what may.
2. Never carry an unwilling so called friend
