Opportunist politicians may talk all rubbish about the nuclear deal. Ignore them. Atlast we have got a Prime Minister who is capable of taking challenge to the opposition. The CPM always has been a stumbling block in India's progress. They want to see China become the no. 1 country in the world, but not their own country. Congrats Manmohanji. Ignore all the idiots like Prakash Karat and Advani. How did suddenly Advani realised that he had to do some thing for the Ayodhya Issue. What kind of stupid politicians we have. Once the the greatest living patriot like Dr. Abdul Kalam says, the deal is good for India, then it is good. He will not sell the country for peanuts, which others have done in the past.
PM, you are a great leader. Whether you get the numbers in the Parliament is another matter, but you had courage and wisdom to do what is best for the country. You are true SIKH. Carry on sir,

major defeat for Chinese agents..........
by TIGER MAN on Jul 09, 2008 05:30 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

China and all their agents must be having sleepless nights hearing this news. After using every trick in the book to stall the deal(such as withdrawl of support threat etc), MMS has finally suceeded in getting it through.

why nuclear deal is so scary for China? In fact a civil nuclear deal will indirectly stop us from improving our strategic nuclear bomb, so what is china is scared of that? In fact yesterday, China's PM supported that Indo US treaty. Dont forget Bush is a big supporter of the current Chiniese Govt.

India today is virtually starved for uranium. Due to this deal, India will have a virtual free access to Uranium from the NSG coutries. Due to this deal, 14 out of 22 reactor will be placed under supervision, but 8 r for military purposes. India has right to build more reactors.

The most important aspect abt this deal which everyone seems to miss is that, the negotiation with NSG countries is bilateral. once the window is opened for india, india can talk with any NSG country and get uranium from them. Given this, it is not too difficult to guess that the uranium will eventually reach the military reactors.

Wake up Hokuram.. US never goes with the chinese.. 1962 war, US was the one who supported india.. Otherwise, India could have been runover by the chinese. The Communists of west bengal/kerala supported the Chinese. Google and search on the net for information then come back to comment.

My dear.. being a democratic country, with corruption, Chinese Agents like Karat, we have achieved all this. Defintely its an achievement.

That`s the greatness and vibrance of INDIA. & yes, we are self reliant and there will never be a 1962, that`s ensured.

i agree that it is a great achievement, but unfortunately we are not self reliant especially in uranium. hence this deal was absolutely critical.

then why are they opposing India's agreement with the NSG tooth and nail.

Chinese in India(CPI/M) making it their life's mission to oppose the deal, also indicates that China is very much concerned abt this deal.

US support anyone at any time. US supported Osama Bin Laden and Taliban to fight Russia, they supported Saddam Husain against Iran, and all these attacking back USA now. Very soon we will see India will be in the enemy list of USA.

power cut
by Duniya ka problem Apna problem on Jul 09, 2008 05:21 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

whenever i am sitting in a powercut situation
which is quite frequent in bangalore(IT city, haha)
there is hope that this nuke deal will solve some of our power issues....
Just if, BJP which otherwise (as in if they were in power) would have okayed the deal...would for once work together with Cong as a Constructive opposition...Aah, sounds cool...
The Left are a real pain...they claim support of the people...the same people they have ruled for 20 years and see their condition!!!...
examine the deal with Tata on Singur and you will know how the Left have sold the Bengalis short!! ....its really sad that yest on TV Brinda Karat says we knows its good for the country but we should not deal with US....i guess they want us to do it China or Russia...with whom we cant deal with anyways...

Thanks to BESCOM.
