Dr. Manmohan Singh must think about the advantages and disadvantages of the N-deal and only then take a decision

George Bush has only a few months more in office. (Unlike leaders in India who like to control power till they are in their nineties)

N-DEAL FUTURE
by IndianEconomy on Jul 09, 2008 12:04 PM  Permalink

Suppose if BJP comes to power in the next election with majority and signed the N-Deal with small changes (To show that they have a deal better than Congress. But most of the agreement is same) then what is the position of Left other than making dharnas in the street for some time and talking about this & that for some time.
Then there will be some other big issue come up like US Vs China over Taiwan etc. The whole episode will be forgetten by public as well as media and Left.

At anypoint of time left has no chance to have control over central Govt like this. So they have to think about the Future also.

nuclear deal
by nirmal sur on Jul 09, 2008 12:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The prime minister rightly said that in todays interdependent world we have to go together. The real power belongs to sharing not opposing. We are proud of our prime minister for his great effort to educate india for this urgent need for future power demand i.e by going nuclear.

Just few months back Bush critised India for the Global food crisis and soaring Oil prices. I am really wondering how you people are supporting blindly the USA despite they are abusing Indians and they are preventing India from growing. !!!!!! Y you people are underestimating ourselves we have very good natural resources and we dont have to beg any body. Instead of signing this deal for billions and billions of dollars India can simply improve our own potential through R&D and technological innovation. INstead of doing this you people are begging to US who never respect our people. If you are working in BPO for USA Clients, you will come to know. US people will straightaway abuse if they come to know that you are an Indian (They even abuse female workers). STOP TALKING LIKE THIS. AWAKE AND SUPPORT FOR INDIA'S GROWTH rather than bend towards other countries.

Who has Bush paid money to? Please clarify.

The contracts for the nuclear power stations are a long way off. They may go to American Companies, but they may also go to French and Russian companies. It is for us to make sure that the bidding process is transparent and honest.

Bush did not criticize India. In fact, he praised India for raising the living standard of its people.

Yes, we can surely improve our own strengths, as we have done in the case of the LCA, the MBT and the DRDO. Our Ordnance Factories employ over 500,000 people. Why then should we import any weapons?

Those who were in power at that time sold India to British East India without caring about future consequences

Those who are in power now doing biggest blunder. They say nuclear deal is good for our country without giving any smallest evidence. They don’t even have courage to make it public.
Everything have been decided secretly behind close doors with Americans.

the same blatant stupid argument was made by the same commies and the BJP when the same manmohan singh started the economic reforms in 1991, which is now a reason for "India shining" and has put India on the world map.

I wonder how some people are still living in the "dark age"!
