FOR THE 1st TIME EVER THEY HAVE LOST THE MAJORITY IN THE UPPER HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT...EVEN IF THE MANAGE TO GET A MAJORITY IN THE LOWER HOUSE...THEY WILL JUST BECOME A LAME GOVERNMENT TRYING TO HANG ON FOR A YEAR...IF THEY DO MANAGE TO LIMP FOR ONE MORE YEAR...THEY WILL BECOME SO WEAK AND USELESS...THAT THEY MIGHT NOT EVEN GET 100 SEATS WHEN THE ELECTIONS ARE HELD IN A YEARS TIME.....WHEN THE ELECTIONS ARE HELD..I CANT SEE ANYONE GETTING A MAJORITY...AND ANOTHER COLLATION IS THE ONLY OPTION....YEARS BACK ONE COULD NOT EVER THINK OF A COMMUNIST AND RIGHT WING COLLATION ..BUT FOR THE 1st TIME EVER IT HAS BECOME VERY POSSIBLE.......CONGRESS HAVE LOST A VERY FAVOURABLE ALLY IN THE COMMUNISTS.... THE ONLY OPTION FOR CONGRESS NOW IS TO CALL IN ELECTIONS IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT GOING FOR A TRUST VOTE AND THEN HOPE FOR THE BEST....IF THEY DO GO FOR A TRUST VOTE JUST FOR THE ONE SIDED NUCLEAR DEAL WITH USA..AND THEY LOSE ...CONGRESS WILL BE CRUSHED IN THE ELECTIONS....IF THEY DO MANAGE TO GET THE NUMBERS...AND LIMP ON FOR ANOTHER YEAR....CONGRESS WILL GET CRUSHED IN THE ELECTIONS HELD IN A YEARS TIME...

I think you guys are underestimating the Congress party here, you can say all you want but I think they will get home. The Nuclear Issue has become a National Issue and even strong BJP supporters are questioning the decision of the BJP high command in going against the deal. I think the Congress is sitting pretty on the deal, if they fail they would become martyrs in the eyes of the public.

This is the problem with Indians. They are too scared when they deal with west. Nuke deal is not a deal to nuke India. It is a deal to sell the Uranium to India. So if India fail to keep the terms of the deal the deal will be nullified and rest will have to decide at that time.

The best think Mr Advani can do to the nation and party is to retire from politics. He is too aged to become PM of India. BJP itself has many leaders will have more potential than Mr.Advani
So in opinion if the 2009 election between Mr Advani and victorious Mr Singh, I will bet on Mr. Singh. Yes he did an excellent job and he is showing his potential right now.
- He trying to save his govt without the wish of Antonio Maino humiliating her by inviting her arch enemy and back stabber Maulana Mulayam !
- He is doing a pact with SP which the Congress your raj never like it. Because your raj was fighting tooth and nail against the same SP few days back. Now he has to eat his own vomits
Few days back a congress spin master give out the list of seven cangress candidate and not included the sitting PM name as probable candidate.
So with one shot PM is trying to aim many birds. If PM run as next PM candidate with all these victory under the belt he will beat Mr.Advani hands down and the dream of Rahul getting married as PM of India will melt down.
Now we have to watch his next political move. Whether he can grab the sheeps from Antonio's wings like BJP doing in Karnataka.
