Congress can't win election anymore whether it's central or state. It's a clear gameplan to divert People of India to a sensitive issue. Nothing more than that. After latest Karnataka and other state elections they're sure they can't win, and hence saying now they'll go for the deal. If they win the Trust vote they'll get appeal to the People that they got something big for them, even if they loose also, they'll say, for India's prosparity, they sacrificed the Govt. and say BJP & Left had pulled down tahem.
In case the US or other countries in the Nuclear Suppliers Group renege on fuel supply assurances for imported reactors, will we have the ability to withdraw these reactors from IAEA safeguards? No If US or NSG countries renege on fuel supply assurances, can we withdraw our indigenous civilian reactors from IAEA Safeguards? No If we have to bring nuclear fuel from the non-safeguarded part of our nuclear programme for these reactors in case of fuel supply assurances not being fulfilled, will we have the ability to take it back again? No What are the corrective steps that India can take if fuel supplies are interrupted by the US or NSG countries? India has no authority to take corrective measures. What are the conditions that India will have to fulfill if the corrective steps are to be put into operation? No Conditions as India cannot take corrective steps. USA's decision is final & binding. It is critical for the country that the IAEA Safeguards Agreement is discussed with full transparency and not kept secret. Why is the Manmohan Singh [Images] government keeping the draft of the IAEA Agreement secret from the people of India? Because any Indian with a simple common sense will reject this deal as we will lose our authorities on our N-Plants.
One more question which this govt. should answer is with all these, when we will get N-energy and at what cost? Is it worth investing so hugh amount?

I am 200% sure even if the text is available it will be undecipherable by common people other than experienced lawyers. So chill, even if it is made available you won't understand anything. Moreover the LEFT (why are they LEFT when they never leave ??) HAD a chance to get access to it if they joined the govt. Who stopped them? There is an oath of Confidentiality which each and every minister takes on being appointed! Do Communists get exclusion as a by-clause in making that oath. Imagine a Minister saying: "I swear that I will abide by the constitution and keep secret everything except to help the Communists in any party who will not join in taking responsibility for governance, but swear allegiance basically to China which is the only country whose inclusion we supported to the permamnent membership of Security Council, whose admission we supported to the list of countries allowed to have Nuclear Weapons, because our beloved ex-PM, Jawaharlal Nehru was a rabid Commie, and whose sense of reason was overwhelmed by his friendship to China in spite of warnings made in 1954 by Sardar Vallabhai Patel, in thankgiving a country which successfully attacked us, made us look like idiots wanting to be be friendly while they continue to nibble at our border all the time, building roads, bridges, and carry the Olympic torch to a region they forcibly occupied, Tibet whose culture has been overrun by Han Chinese or Xinkiang Muslims, yet who quietly sponsor terrorism in North East, and who have their own Nuclear agreement both with USA(on far poorer terms than we got) and Pakistan. Let us together let the politics of dividing India on caste communal and cultural lines succeed so that totalitarian regimes like China rule the world! Jai China!!"
