Now that China will support
by speculator on Jul 08, 2008 11:54 PM  Permalink

Expect Left parties to support the nuclear deal too.Can someone raid the Left party leaders houses.I am sure they will recover chinese passports and chinese payslips.

Though I seriously doubt China supporting India?Look for them to clip India's wings in the first available opportunity??

I LUV Chinkis.

Why India is forced to buy nuclear fuel and reactors at 10 times higher cost from US
by Spiderman on Jul 08, 2008 11:47 PM  Permalink

Even Canada has recently bought huge stock of Uranium left by Saddam regime from Iraq at a very cheap price.

Who will bear the initial investment of 500 billion Euros in very first few month. Why so much burden on poor Indian for the Profit of US whose economy continue to slide. Why we want to rescue them at our own suffering......

If this deal is good for nation then why they (cong.) have no courage to make it to public
by Spiderman on Jul 08, 2008 11:16 PM  Permalink

Why close door meetings with americans. PM and Sonia who recently lost people support going all alone. In Europe they even have refrundom on EU treaties. Is it true face of India democracy.
Though it is a good time for MPs to make lot of money for not next election but next generation though bribes and kickbacks.
As Godfather rightly put " Everything is business". That's the principle US follows otherwise after creating 60 years of tension between India and Pakistan US will never think anything better for India. When this game will come to light then it will be too late for the people of India.

Even leaders of Iraq are wiser than Indian Politicians who do not want to give green light to any deal with them without thinking about thier nation.

A thing to learn :

There is a proverb : It is better to have a intelligent enemy than a follish friend.India always wronly battered China and went out of way to appease Pakistan to appease the pakis residing within India. It is time to get matured and bond friendship with China. If India gets Strong no need to appease the pakis.Without them we can go ahead. And yes is Karat reading this news.

pakistan is a short-term enemy some day perhaps india pak will merge like east n west germany - or at least the parts of pak east and south of sindhu river.

but if not who cares

on the other hand your contention that we can have permanent friendship with the chinese is debatable at best. this is not possible. there is too much resource crunch globally for which both of these countries need to compete badly. friendship is out of question

That is not the case, Bhai. China will support India as they have Fuel to sell India if they have these Reactors. They even have reactors to sell, if US allows them to.

Big Question there. No, India would not have a say, practically.

China backs India at the IAEA
by Krishna Sinha on Jul 08, 2008 09:47 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If China really agrees to back India for the international co-operation, it is a great victory for the diplomacy of Dr. Man Mohan Singh. Contrast this with the attitude of the left here.
