Nuclear peower is just 8% of our total power generation and nuclear waste is hazardous ..even a small quake at a nuclear station will result in chaos..
We should go in for solar, wind power and other renewabls resources..giant investments must be made in internal exploration of thorium reserves..
We can be closer with US but this deal is anti-national and unfair..

why mr.veera, have you gone through the deal thoroughly. do you think anybody from the left has the capacity to understand it fully? why should india be close to russia alone? the alternative sources of energy can also be tapped along with generating power from nuclear reactors. along with power generation we will also be able to reprocess spent fuel in reactors to produce plutonium. so why should we not go with the deal. as for nuclear tests no body on earth can stop india from conducting one.

2 Questions for you.
a) Do you why we do nuclear test - to collect data to fine tune design...we have sufficient data and has been used...the model used for these data have been fine tuned...so we can live without it...in case we have to do.....there is a penaly involved......but no one will stop from pulling out 2) Do you why we need this deal - all power plants are running at 30-40% capacity...and will have to shutdown...with fuel we can sustain current level and build more to augument other sources of electricity.... and dont talk blunder on earth quake.....nuclear plants are designed and built to withstand worst possible earthquake.....in the event it goes beyond that level it is built to be fail safe......which means no impact to environment......
Bottom line if youy dont know about a tpoic...dont comment

Can anybody use data of plutonium explosion for uranium one???? Nope Can we use Nuclear Fission data for Nuclear fusion reaction?? NOpe We are not going to make similar weapon of high weight 2nd Question is reasonable .......But more important is to se what the deal gives you ??? resolving energy crisis or a trap for Millitary programme

Dear sir..Even BJP is opposing this deal..even if this dela had been made with any other country, we should oppose it because it is against India's rights and sovereignity..
