The BJP and the Safroon Brigade were not happy with UPA Govt is a well known fact. But they will resort to such a move to topple the Govt by offering PM post to Mulayam Singh, is something akin to What Rajiv Gandhi did to Chanrasekar, who was toppled later. The sensational disclosure was made by the SP leader in an interview to IBN7, adding that the party had rejected the proposal by BJP leader Jaswant Singh as it did a year ago during the 2007 Presidential elections.Singh said his party rejected the proposal as there was no question of aligning with the BJP as his party consider that communalism is a bigger danger to the country than any other issue. Look at the height of their antagonism against Soniaji, When Jaswant Singh said,"This Italy [Images] government has to go".The SP leader's revelation came a day after Jaswant Singh admitted that the BJP had attempted to topple the Congress-led coalition at the Centre by promising prime ministership to the UNPA in lieu of support for Bhairon Singh Shekhawat in last year's presidential polls. This shows the desperation on the part of the BJP leadership to come to power by hook or crook. Why the BJP is restless and would like to face elections early? Its because the mood of the people may change if elections were to take place next May and it is time to cash in the mood of the people which is certainly against the Govt. Strike when the iron is hot, BJP way of thinking. BJP would be more desperate as SP is solidly with Congress.

What rot! Belive Amar singh at your own peril! Same idiot wanted us to belive congress was untouchable a few months back. He is making a fool of himself and his followers. he is interested only his own benefits and those of Amitabh, Anil ambani and Jaya pradha. He is a power broker nothing else, can't win elections either.

BJP is the biggest loser at the center once nuclear deal goes through. BSP is the biggest loser if SP and Congress allign. They have no choice as BSP & BJP vote bank is most captive.
To gain power at the Centre at any cost, is BJP's mission statement. Amar Singh's statement betrays the extent to which they can stoop and be oppor- tunistic. BJP's track record at maintaining communcal harmony (example: Gujarat) is miserable as against the Congress's and the country is better off keeping such fundamental- isitc forces at bay. The country has already paid a heavy price during their last rule. A party at Centre must have some ideals that are pure, appeals to a majority of Indians and end up being a role model for every one. BJP falls short on all counts.

The Congress must be good negotiators. Jaswant Singh offered full price and yet SP turned them down
BJP getting so desperate. In Karnataka they bought 3 opposition MLAs to shore their numbers. Made them resign and stand for elections again.
So Senile Advani salivating on prospects of his last chance to occupy the PM's chair could have attempted to topple the government. Why else would Jaswant Singh before the UNPA meeting drive to meet Amar Singh.

Why BJP is mocked is that no other party but the BJP made the absurd claim that they are a party with a difference. It is why this so repelling. Pseudos trying to take the moral high ground attracts ridicule
Even congress said GARIBI HATAO, MERABHARAT MAHAN, PARTY FOR PROGRESS and what not. They all claim. BJP also won so many states recently and you think the voters were wrong, duped or whatever.
But only you is right. Well sir, if you are right and then be right by being fair.

BJP is in opposition. The Congress Party toppled the govts of Charan Singh, Chander Shekhar, I.K.Gugral and Deva Gowda after supporting them and look at the reasons for withdrawing support. You can make a comedy film on that. When leftists can topple a govt supported by them, what is wrong in BJP trying to topple Congress govt.

Why is everyone geting so worked up on this? Is this something new we have stumbled on? Its something which is our misfortune that we have no choices at all. They are all the same--be it the Congress or the BJP.THEY ARE COMPLETELY AND ABSOLUTELY THE SAME-will do anything and everything to get power and money. It means absolutely anything.Nothing is too low for them.

There is no way people of india will bring back COMMUNAL BJP.May be Advani is dreaming of becoming PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA.Its foolish for the peoples of india to make him PM as he is playing cheap politics. I guess, someone is going to kill him before the election coz he is the one who is spreading communalism in the country. LONG LIVE CONGRESS N SP
