BJP confirms Amar’s charge, admits it tried to topple govt

Senior BJP leader Jaswant Singh surprised party colleagues including LK Advani by confirming SP leader Amar Singh’s revelation that he (Jaswant) had carried a BJP plan to the UNPA to topple the UPA government during last year’s presidential election.
The startling admission came at the end of a news conference Jaswant addressed with Advani on Saturday, in the course of which the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate slammed the SP and Congress for their “opportunistic alliance”.
Jaswant said he had told UNPA leaders that the BJP would back one of them for PM if they agreed to support NDA nominee Bhairon Singh Shekhawat for president.
He had made the offer on behalf of the NDA after he was authorised by the BJP, and had routed it through AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa, Jaswant said. He clarified that the offer was not for a specific leader; it was open to any UNPA candidate.
Last year, the BJP had worked furiously behind the scenes to ensure UPA-Left nominee Pratibha Patil’s defeat, hoping it would bring down Manmohan Singh’s government.
Asked why he had visited Amar Singh a few days ago, Jaswant said he intended “to ascertain which way the wind is blowing in the Samajwadi Party”.

This UPA goverment should try to understand the basic need of people of India.Record inflation in india but goverment is not taking care.They are working for how they make next goverment .Economy is very poor in india.Poor people can not afford
Enough of the nice gentleman MMS. His mean self of a dirty Indian politician is exposed. Not only Italian waitress and ass licking PM have made ass of traitor communists but also ass of Indian masses.
They've successfully diverted national intention from back-breaking 25% inflation but also able to save their power grip. The ultimate victim are stupid dumb masses of India. Even if Congress doesn't need traitors, they still cannot close the deal due to various international players and tough regulations involved. The only beneficiary are Italian waitress and her family and her ass licking power hungry PM.
Indian economy is going to dogs while Nehru-clan is busy strengthening their grip on power as usual at any cost to nation. For last 2-3 years, they have been not able to make single reform due to their lust for power and keep traitors in humor.
Mine is blind support to BJP, because they are the party who is not appeasing the minorities at the cost of majority. Where as Congress is appeasing the minority at the cost of majority. As far as developmental works are considered probably all are same. The most noble PM(MMS) and President(A.Kalam) could not do anything, then who can develop.

With due regard to Mahatma MKGandhi, I feel he overplayed himself post independence. He installed Nehru and hence the dynasty which has become global now. We can respect him for the struggle he made to secure independence. But HE WAS NOT IN ANY WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR SECURING FREEDOM. Britishers left all of their colonies many of them much before they left India. If the occupants were the current day talibans, Gandhi would have had a more punishing death as per shariat. The person who killed him is a nationalist to the core although there could have been a better way of resolving the issue other than by assassination.
BY THE WAY WHY SHOULD ANYONE LOOK FOR APPEASEMENT UNLESS YOU THINK YOU ARE INFERIOR.

BJP supports Hindus for votes.Now babri Masjid is not an issue for them. Advani became PM in waiting and many others CMs because of that. Now that is not at all main issue.
Even in UP for reviving their fortune they are not making that an issue. People understood them. That is why in Amarnath issue they did not get political mileage as they have got before.
