Political Parties
by Bhaskar Das on Jul 05, 2008 02:08 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I am not so much concern of party politics. But as a educated man of this country I can understand motive of all political parties. Congress : Pseudo in thier policies. Try to appease muslim as well as hindu and at any cost stay in power. They ruled the country for morethan 50 years but the country did not the see the progress in all front that hppend in last 10 years. They did not do anything for poor people in rural areas in last 50 years. Even they had polices, they failed it in execution. BJP: Blunt in othodox principle otherwise it seems that they are good in other polices for the country. They had shown this in thier 6 years of governance. They should not forget that India is alo one of the largest dwelling house of muslim. They have to carry all communuties along with if they want to run the country. They should change with time. LEFT: Dogmatic in it ideology do not want to change with time.

Political Opportunism in India- By Mulayam Singh and Amar Singh.
by suresh on Jul 05, 2008 02:06 PM  Permalink

Friends,

Can there be any other instance of political opportunism of the crassest kind as we are witnessing now??.

1. The Samajwadi Party should first rename itself as "Awsarwadi Party" , since this accurately reflects their status as a party.

2. Amar Singh has attained fame(or infamy!!!) as the ultimate DALLA (Dalal!!!) of Indian Politics. he can fix anything , anytime for anybody. Whether it is arranging to get Sushmita Sen for the junior Ambani or if it is to fix Aishwarya Rai with the junior Bachhan , Amar Singh is the man of the moment.

3. I am sure his links with Bollywood stars go well beyond friendship. Am sure that as the chief dalla of this country, he must also be regularly arranging women in Bollywood for entertaining his friends, business interests, sheikhs, mullahs etc etc.

4. God Bless him and Mulayam. I wont be surprised if both of them also share the same bed!!!!.

Kya hoga is desh ka, jahaan mulayam aur amar singh jaise log raj karenge.

Advani
by Munis Guru on Jul 05, 2008 02:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Advani aspires to become the PM. Before making these comments, he should just think back on the following:
1) THose 13 days of 1998, when BJP tried to save their govt. Did BJP learn any lesson from the Jumbo of TN before they again align with her in 2004.
2) How did BJP managed those 5 years (1999-04), when they ruled.
3) Why all those India shining noises didnt help them to come back to power in 2004.
4) What is their achievement during 1998-04.
Atleast MMS, can claim that he has achieved many many things during 1991-96 and during the last 4 years.
5) Can Advani explain what BJP could have done to control the crude price.
6) What is his view on the N deal.
BJP is a stupid group, particularly post Vajpayee, it has become the gangsters' aprty.

Munis, you seem to have let your hatred for BJP
overshadow facts. I don't admire the BJP's brand of politics and I feel it is not in the interests of the country. But the BJP didn't resort to suitcase politics to save the government in 1998. Had they done so, they would have been successful.

During BJP rule, inflation remained under control.

True, they antagonised a lot of people with their India shining campaign, but what is the present Government doing? Before the current crisis, they were all geared up for a campaign on similar lines.

Vajpayee had the guts to go ahead with Pokhran-II successfully resisting pressure from the International community. His predecessors did not have the guts to do it. He started the Golden Quadrilateral project, Sarva Siksha Abhiyan and other projects. Read up on subject. Don't expect answers from others. The present Govt has done some good things too, no doubt. But they have tried to communalise everything from History, Geography and Economics. They even tried to communalise the Army. Do you think this is correct?

The present Government can cut down on taxes levied on petroleum products. It is not a complete solution, but helps to some extent at least. Why doesn't our PM, a noted economist doesn't do that?

I am no advocate for Advani to answer all your queries. But all parties have their faults, be it the BJP or UPA or Left. It is just a question of the degree of fault.

UPA Govt. is working towards National Interest
by sushanta mishra on Jul 05, 2008 02:02 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Except CPM , none of the party is against the Nuclear Deal.It implies that, the deal is in the National Interest. Had it not been, the leading opisition party i.e. the BJP must bring the negative aspect to the limelight. Not even any media report have ever quoted anything against the deal. So, there is nothing harm,if the Congress leadership is gorging alliance with other political party, for the betterment of country's progress.

Yes.You are abosultely right. Some parties are trying to fish in troubles waters. Those who dont want nuclear power can use hydro power.why so much fuss.We are also going to get gas.Nuclear and Gas would make energy clean and non stop. Not that hydro power is bad.it is one of the source and what iswrong in having multiple sources from which energy obtained. as years pass by even we will get bio energy and solar energy. Will CPM or any one say we dont want energy from Sun?

Finally congress showed their colour change lizardness like Samajwadi Party
by Royal King on Jul 05, 2008 02:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is a big slap on communists face, and they must learn a lot from this. They would have withdrawN their support to congress one year back itself, now it is out of their hands. In this case communists thought themself that they are smart in politics, but out come is that they prooved they are very poor in politics like they say their party represent poor people.

Finally congress showed their colour change lizardness like Samajwadi Party.

It is not colour change. I dont agree with it.When we get nuclear anergy you willsee how the country changes.SP only grabbed opportunity, which appears to be a an intelligent move. Well, will any one say any thing negetive whne power is supplied without hassles? When Rajiv Gandhi brought i computers all these gentlemen cried hoarse in the corridors of Parliamnt and ridiculed him . Now what you see around ? Every one those cried like leg broken monkeys are today shouting from roof tops saying that they are computer savvy!!
That is what my friend! Congress does things what is good for the country.Every time it attemped to do so it faced worst type of criticism and now it is othing new.Just wait and see.

The monster mentioned in your mail - congress, was allowed to grow like this in the last 4 years or so by the so called defenders of poor man - communist who wanted to relish power with out responsibility (back seat driving). Why did you not mail your above comment say a fortnight before. May be you were in a dielema as was the commies.

Communism was needed during 50's - 70's. Like reservations it has outlived its utility and now is a catastrope
