The government should put forward the reasons for accepting the nuclear deal. The benefits ,long term as well as short term.Similarly the possible threats.Even the media should come forward and provide awareness about the deal, provided the right info is available. Most of the people who comment even do not know the fact about the deal.

No silent feetures my friend, we should have this deal 60 years back.
Its now a secondary issue whether n-deal is good or bad. Whats worse is the drama that is being thrown up taking politics to further low. 1)For the sake of power grabbing, changing partners 2) Using Dr. kalam by SP to appease muslims. It is shameful to give a religious color to the scientist we all so respect. 3) More importantly, muslim religious leaders having say about foreign affairs solely based on religious interests and not on national interests 4) And, such drama to divert the attention from the most important issue now - Inflation! 5) The policy of congress to hide the IAEA text even from its supporters - left parties and discussing with parties like SP when necessary and not with all parties on such a sensitive matter 6) bjp should have stayed away from this drama. it maintained distance but these vote of confidence comments are unnecessary.

The BJP is more stunned than anything else. It thought it would be able to capatalise on the situation and would gain if elections were to be held today. Sadly, it has put its own interests before nation's interest.

What is the foundation of your comment? When your neighbor fights with his wife and asks for a divorce would you be stunned? Every one who knows politics in India knows that the Congress cannot win elections of the N-deal and the BJP cannot lose elections based on the N-deal. At the rate at which inflation is going up the BJP stands a better chance of winning elections on time. Like every person who talks on this matter and doesn’t have a clue on what would be the benefit that the N-deal will give India ,you are parroting what MMS claims > Or did you also like Amar Singh meet APJ Abdul Kaalam . Ask yourself one thing: If the deal is so good why doesn’t MMS explain it to the nation? Why is he wasting time threatening the resign rather than go to the people.
As far as putting personal interest before nations interest is concerned every politician from Nehru to Maywati from Indira Gandhi to Mulayum Singh both Vajpayee and Advani included have done it. The only one that did not do so we still fortunately call the father of our nation.

atleast they regained the lost land in Kargil war ........like we lost land to Pak and china due to complacency of Nehru and congress.......... do you know what the fact .......... Loan waiver is not the solution for what was claimed you also know this benefit is for farmer who taken loan from bank ..... do you think majority of poor farmers take loan from bank .........infact they wont know about about such loan waiver also ......... what about those farmer who repayed the loan by hardwork and consistency .... it will lead to injustice as this scheme make Lazy and Hardworking farmers on same level ......... well I never support advani or BJP post ABV ....... but they are better than congress
Everyday one can see misleading statments coming from aged politicians in this country. The danger is those who mislead will be misled by their own words. It is a fact.Congress will win evry hudle. When ever it tried to do good thing for the country, it faced very harsh reactions from every one. But it prevailed. It is nothing new.Congress will get us the nuclear deal. Only time will tell how good it was when good returns start apearing.I wish Congress at least ten terms untill it makes this country free of communal forces.

By the time Congress rids the country of communal forces, that is, the Hindus as per your surmise, the whole country will be occupied by the minorities and there will be no more communal clashes, since they will just finish anyone who dares to talk against them. It is a matter of great misfortune that you wish such horrible things to happen and it is again a matter of great fortune that I won't be alive to see such a day after 50 years!

Ever since split in congress in sixties congress is getting reduced and fragmented, only because of power hunger of Top brass.Nehru though rewarded both hands full, the dynasty is fleecing and looting India both hands. We have once again come to the point in history when MUghals were reduced to Delhi only and too busy deciding(selling)who is the THAKTH NI SHIL OF DELHI.And country was captured by British IN NAME OF BUISNESS.This time its congress who is working as power monker and all foreign FIIS FDIS are capturing India.Top of it ITS THIS N-DEAL. A LAST NAIL IN COFFIN FOR OUR Militory independency. GOD savefrom these duplicate gandhis and congresses and off course from sardar as well.

Soniaji was not denied by Kalam because Kalam upheld the constitution and she could have been the PM per Indian constitution.
Sonia sacrificed in the larger interest of the nations or maybe the UPA coalition didn't agree to her being the PM.

Till date, we do not know the reasons for the BJP's opposition to the deal. The Left is against anything and anyone with even the remotest of connections to the USA and hence they oppose the deal. What about the BJP? What is their grouse against the deal? They cannot oppose something blindly because it was proposed by the ruling party. The BJP is showing the same mentality as the Congress and the Left at the time India detonated the n-bomb in 1998.
No one seems to think of the nation, but only of themselves. What a shame!

I dont know about any party ........ But I think that ...... India needs many nuclear test to be sure of security if any threat come from china or Pakistan ............. coz what evr we tested is of 43KT which look like cracker in front of China 's weapon 4-5 MT around 100 times more powerful ......... you cannot deny the fact that all the time US want to curb India'S Nuclear Programme of weaponisation ....... thats y they formed NSG .........if you see they are not signer of CTBT but always force India to sign it ....... They already decieved us in case of Tarapur reactor ............... They also want to curb Indian FBR programme which can create weapon grade plutonium on large scale indirectly it will effect Thorium technology which are underdeveloopment in FBR at kalpakkam ......... So just for energy security you cannot compromise ... Security against threar and make wholee country energy dependent on others
RE:BJP's oppositon to n-deal is opportunistic

The oppposition to the deal is because of the Hyde Act. In the name of energy security, which we are not going to acheive through nuclear deal anyway [since even until 2030, Nuclear deal will supply only 5% of our total energy needs] we cannot compromise our national security. Also, there is a clause in the deal according to which India cannot import heavy water reactors, which are necessary to utilize our vast thorium reserves. Even if we operationalize the deal, who is going to supply us with uranium? Australia has already declined
There are some serious CIA agents running the country

abe gadha hai kya ? .. their opposition is clear. There is hyde act due to which if we conduct n-test, fuel supplies might be cut off! -- ie after investing billions of $ for the reactors, they can run short of the fuel and will be huge financial crisis. so, renegotiate that part

RE:BJP's oppositon to n-deal is opportunistic

1) Its not about wanting bombs. Its about the symbolism of being "controlled" by external factor. 2) Now, I think whether n-deal is good or bad is a secondary thing; whts more important is the new lows in politics - primarily by non-congress; non-bjp parties and partly by congress in the sense that they are not willing to share the IAEA text publicly and even worse they are not briefing any party on such a sensitive matter. And, I dont think matters of such sensitive nature should involve this drama.
