left problem
by vox populi on Jul 05, 2008 11:37 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

the fig leaf has been removed and the commies exposed--their aim was
1} Keep India in nuclear isolation
2)make sure india does not even be in touch with G 8 countries effectively trying to isolate from super powers
3)screwing the hindus and the indian ethos
4) leaving the road open for China to make tremendous progress

Look at the statements: if for 2 years they knew trouble was brewing why did thet not withdraw support?
Theya re the biggest hypocrites and if anyone deserves the tag of traitors to te nation it is the CPI(M)

End of Journey for CPI and CPI(M

Dear Prakash Karat & Co.

Further to various comments made against you and your party by our value readers at Rediff, it is no ABSOLUTELY CLEAR to even a layman that Indo-US Nuclear Treaty is in favour of India. This was confirmed by Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam, Father of Missile Technology and Renowned Scientist in a meeting convened at Dr. Kalam Saheb's residence by Mulayam Singh Yadav and Amar Singh. I am sure it was a big shot in Dr. Manmohan Singh's arm who have now clear support of 38 SP MPs in Lok Sabha.

Mr. Karat; I challenge you to move forward and introduce "No Confidence Motion", agar apni maa kaa doodh piya hai tu" and see it will be just a formality for Mr. Somnath Chatterjee to announce a verdict for Dr. Singh's government. Your regular threat has also some-how diverted Dr. Singh's prime focus and attention to high inflation, as commenmen is continuously suffering. You are not allowing the Prime Minister of India to work peacefully for the country (who is also an noted economist and knows the market strategy & idea better than you) and you do not believe him at all. It is good and highly appreciated move by Mulayam Singh Yadav who has some problem with Mayawati now finally decided to rescue UPA government, as India is not at all ready for mid-term poll at the moment.

Furthermore, Mr. Brajesh Mishra (former National Security Advisor) during NDA government headed by Shri A B Vajpaee had also publicly confirmed that Indo-US nuclear deal is in favour of India,

Question
by Concept Manufacturing on Jul 05, 2008 11:36 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The more important question is whether India needs the left & not whether India needs the N Deal. Consider that N deal is evil, but left is the bigger evil. So if the N deal is helpful in removing the left, it is good in any case.

No Confidence in CPI
by Aspi Khambata on Jul 05, 2008 11:36 AM  Permalink

The Left Parties now have no choice but to withdraw support to UPA. Let them do whatever they wish. Inflation is not a new phonmenon, there have been sveral periods of inflation in the last 50 years, most of them due to ever increasing prices of oil. This time too the inflation is due to speculators manipulation, and Govt of India cannot be blamed for that. Nuclear power generation will help to reduce dependence on oil. At the next election the people of India must put the stamp of NO CONFIDENCE on the Leftists and send them packing to oblivion. Communists ideology is against Democracy anyway, they have no place in India.

Nuclear Deal
by Jitin Bhatt on Jul 05, 2008 11:35 AM  Permalink

Every body knows that Congress is oportunistic and always play with the sentiment of the Indians, Because The Fisrt Prime minister of India has learned the Divide and Rule Politics from The British Government.
Though the Nuclear Deal was initiated by Mr. Vajpayee Government But BJP is always on the Back of its Luck (May be on certain Disagreement on the policy matters within the Party Leaders). Its my personal Openion that Since BJP was the party to initiate the Deal But Congress is taking the advantage. Looking the Country's Interest BJP should take the front seat to support as Opposition party leaving LEFT to aside who has never thought of the country. Aftyer staying 4 Years in the Support of the Goverment;they were not known about this development even till Dr. Singh goes and talk with the Mr. Bush. Surprising with the Lesft. Its BJP's Time to come forawrd and to support the Nuclear Deal rather than Mr. Advanni to see the Dream of Prime Minister Seat. I Look that if this Happens then BJP and Mr, Advani's Draem May come Tru in Real Sence.People of India Draems BJP to be next 50 Years Government (Yes Real Terms of Developing Hindu Nation)

The UPA should know first of all that it is not leading a single issue government. There are lot of issues before it to fulfill as specified in the common minimum programme.Besides, the runaway inflation and food insecurity are all posing immense threat to the very living conditions of the mass.It has to stay and contain the galloping inflation and worsening food problem. Instead of that why the government is trying to appease the imperialist drives of Mr.bush.Nuke deal is not an issue for which the govt.has to go out. Any agreement with the US should be thought out twice. We can't expect anything good from the US and Bush. So it is better to avoid confrontation with the Left as they are sensical to the occasion and their words should also be tken in to confidence.
