Maybe it would interest you that a Muslim family oversaw the shrine for 150 years. It was only a decade ago the shrine board took over.

In the recent riots in Jammu & Kashmir, pilgrims got stranded in Srinagar. No pilgrim was attacked. In fact Muslims arranged accommodation and food for the pilgrims - on their own initiative.

This is also a col fact

There is no reason to disbelieve REDs. This time they will definitely vote against confidence motion. However they will ever remain reasonable.

Will they go with BJP to topple congress? Still many semi literate comrades are unemployed and Govt has plan to expand public sector in a big way.

Sonia ji is more dangerus for Muslims then Advani anyday. She is in bed with Bush. She will be too happy to see Hindus and Muslims fight. Advani refused to toe Bush line and that is why he is disliked by the western media.

nuclear deal
by Cyriac C on Jul 04, 2008 10:45 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If the BJP has any principle, they must now issue a statement that they would support the nuclear deal, as they only had initiated it , notwithstanding the fact that if they had the opportunity, they would have finalised the deal in a more advantageous manner. THey would have commanded a lot of respect . But, now, their opposition to the Deal, exposes them to the charge that they are opportunistic.

If you go to buy a house, you necessarily don't have to buy it unless you are ok with the terms and conditions. The seller cannot say that if you have principles then you should buy the house because you initiated it. That is a dumb argument.

I can understand why you are critcizing the BJP-your name itself makes it plain! Please understand BJP is not opposed to the nuclear deal but for the main flaw in it-viz.we will loose our soverignity!India cannot test any future nuclear bomb for its own security else the agreement will become null and void and we will have to return all nuclear equipments back to America! But America can do whatever it likes in its interest!!What a balanced agreement-well only congress coolies of the west can accept this as in our national interest!

What an absurd logic .
Vajpayee as Indian PM has all the right to say that India, his country will not carry out further tests.
But asking India to give a written undertaking to a man ,who sits in the WhiteHouse and has no right over this country, is different matter .
Not deciding to test and giving aay the right to test for ever are two matter!

Doing too much of anything is bad. this is called Hashimoto's disease.Left must understand they have communicated very well to this country what they want and what are their intentions. they must allow others to reflect.can somebody advise the old left leaders to stay put and have little bit of patience. they must not work in a friday evening and week ends are generally people take rest. we will come back to listen to left next week. thanks.
also let them know that indian citiZens dont need to be specially made aware of their strand after 14th july. they already know that. if they have got some extra money and some wasteable energy, put that in cleaning the dust and garbage of calcutta.
