Nuclear power- do you know how much does it cost? - India bankrupt scheme
by Sameer on Jul 04, 2008 06:14 PM  Permalink

Here are the tarrif numbers from France where 75% of electricity is produced by nuclear power

France power tarrifs
---
An example, you have a 9kW supply and use 2000 kWh at normal rate and 3000 kWh at cheap rate during a year, your annual cost would be:

189.09€ (2000 x 0.1057€) (3000 x 0.0644€) = 593.69€

Lets convert Euros into rupees ( close to 70 rupees per Euro)

That is nearly 42,000 rupees for 5000 units which comes to more than 8 rupees per unit.

Congressi leaders can afford this electricity ( as they would steal) but Can average Indian afford it?
Average Indian can not pay even 1 rupee per unit. Who would buy this power?

This blind support for nuclear energy is suicidal for India.

Can anyone who supports this deal refute these facts?

Why we cannot enrich uranium our own?
by Indian on Jul 04, 2008 06:09 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If US wants to be so friendly with India, why not help with technology to enrich uranium in India? Their trap is clear. They will give us fish everyday and make us dependent on them. But they wont teach us fishing.

u dont know anything. this deal is not only for fuel supply, it says technology and fuel both. its also common sense: how can a NWS country (US/France/Russia) transfer technology to a country which have not sign the NPT, without any special deal. our nuke deal with US is that deal to get technology and fuel.

if u dont know something, look into some source or internet. if u r too lazy for that too, just shut up.

We should erect a living memorial near Rajghat for Amar and Mulayam as their contribution to India far exceeds Mhatma Gandhi

by Ravan Raj on Jul 04, 2008 06:03 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Left parties and congress are making the public fool. Both in the Left dominated states,(Kerala and WB)congress is the main rival for left. And facing people for the next election by tasting the power together for the last 4 yrs seems to be difficult for both the parties. So Soniya and karat decided to play a dirty game using SP(A hijada in indian politics)in the name of N-Deal.Now they can start violence in kerala and WB and continue killing each other up to next general election. So that After election they can raise again the same slogan secularisam
